3 Steps to Making Your New Year’s Resolutions Stick!
3 Steps to Making Your New Year’s Resolutions Stick!
It’s that time again!
And guess what—I’ve got some sobering news…
New Year’s resolutions are a complete waste of time!
Yep, according to a recent study from the University of Scranton, only 8% of all people actually achieve their New Year’s resolutions.
The other 92%?
Well, not to be mean, but if you could ask each of them personally, they’d surely tell you they couldn’t drop those stubborn 15…

Active vs. Passive Prospecting on Social Media
Active vs. Passive Prospecting on Social Media
It’s no secret that social media recruiting is a hot topic in the network marketing space.
These days it seems like distributors everywhere are chomping at the bit to start building their businesses online, using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to find hot new prospects.
But, despite all the buzz, not everyone is achieving success.
Why is that?
Why do some networkers appear to…

Having a Lot of Facebook Friends Can Help You Land a New Job
So, what's the solution? How do you build your personal brand or find the next great job opportunity in this digital age? Think about Facebook -- in a professional sense, not a personal one.

25 of the most incredible journeys to school in the world
How many articles are there about making money online? Thousands? Millions? Enough? Probably. But there’s a problem. Too many of them are just sales pitches to convince you to sign up for some seminar, webinar, training session or some other way to become an online millionaire.
A very common question I get from people learn the cutting edge online recruiting methods I teach, has to do with a concern about being scolded by an upline for “choosing a different path.” For example, I was on a webinar a couple months ago and a woman asked how she should deal with an upline so entrenched in the old way of thinking, she’s afraid the upline might be critical and/or disagree with building online. In some cases, there are leaders who will understandably monitor every move their reps make, watch their stats, review volume and call and email on a daily basis to see who we have prospected recently or showed the plan to. You see, I know what I do works and once new reps and customers start rolling in for you, they are going to have questions and most likely, be negative about building the business differently than how they did it back in the '80s or '90s. And this is a position I empathize with, because my upline, (not my company), once threatened me and said that I would lose my business because I was using online marketing methods, they didn’t approve of. I think this question and issue comes down to this...
Business is a bit like Earth's atmosphere. Hear me out... Imagine for a moment you're a piloting a commercial aircraft (don't worry...you've got your license and put in your training hours). Now, takeoff is extremely demanding and a touch stressful. You've got to accelerate, be mindful of the wind, and raise the nose of the plane at just the right moment to break free from the tarmac. Once you're in the air, the ascent to cruising altitude can be a bit bumpy, as weather and turbulence are common in lower altitudes. That all changes, though... Once you've reached the stratosphere. You see, there's not a ton of water or oxygen in the stratosphere, which keeps it cool and reduces friction. This creates an ideal flying environment, optimizing fuel economy and flying speed. Once you're there, you're all set. You can flip on autopilot, and do whatever it is you do when the plane's got your back and practically running the show. Now, Captain, think about how strikingly similar this is to business...

Why cold-market prospecting & recruiting (online and offline) may be limiting your growth and the #1 alternative to bugging friends, family or strangers on social media.

They say attending events is the key to having success is network marketing and today, there is no bigger generic training event than Eric Worre’s "Go Pro Recruiting Mastery" annual event. Spending a week in Vegas for many, including myself, can prove to be a dangerous proposition. The booze, the partying, the gambling, the... well… you get the idea... However, for this event, ‘discipline' was the name of the game for me! Ok, I did have my share of sipping tequila, but if you know me… that’s pretty normal. And I did skip out on business meetings to grab a seat at the Sports Book to watch game 4 of Dodgers vs Mets playoff game. (Damn you, Mets!!) Aside from that, I was there to learn and to network and I was in bed every night by 11:00pm and up in the morning by 8:00am! With all the excitement surrounding Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Robert Kiyosaki and countless other superstar entrepreneurs who would be speaking in front of 8,000 people at the main event, I was actually more excited about something else... You see, last year, I had attended "the event before the event" called The 6-Figure Summit - exclusively for people in network marketing who are making 6-figures or more per year in their business. I wrote about part of my experience surrounding the event, however since we were actually sworn to secrecy last year, I could only really talk about the personal conversations I had with other 6-figure and 7-figure earners, since that was outside the event. Nonetheless, this year, I was excited to once again, be at The 6-figure Summit. And my excitement boiled down to ONE BIG REASON...
