Upcycled business cards!!! 

My mother always loved stamps so I guess she passed that love onto me :) 

The cardboard came from the only job I’ve ever had for less that 6 months. No name needed, but I’m grateful for the free art supplies (that they otherwise would have tossed!)

on craft and cost

i work at this place where lots of art/creation takes place

it is generally an enjoyable endeavor, made so by the people who grace its halls

some are quirky, some are useless (no one is truly useless but some make themselves so), some are simply here for a check (several of those employed here)

they are all different and that is what makes this endeavor so spicy

i write this post for those of us who create and who create for consumption

i do not create BECAUSE i need my creations to be consumed, however i acknowledge the VALUE in my creations and allow my offerings to be consumed by that mass who will appreciate my craft

i therefore decline all offers of "make this for me...i'm not paying for that!" that come my way, as one such just did

such a request supposes that my offerings are worthless - which it was just suggested ("that bottle cap didn't cost you a thing!") it was, in which case, why do you want it?

and so, sir, no i will not be just making you whatever you so randomly want at whim
