Outpost Luna Released
Outpost Luna, a captivating strategy resource card game with local play or multiplayer options via GameCenter, is now available in the App Store.
The Earth Federation has decided it is time to colonize the distant Outpost Luna, and is offering incentives to companies to build cities there. Being the adventurous space entrepreneur that you are, you take the challenge to be the first company to build these cities.
In order to build those cities, your construction bots will first need to locate the most productive land, gather resources, use those resources to build factories, towers, and housing structures, and then build the cities according to city blueprints provided by the Federation. Each blueprint is accessible to all players, but can only be used once; so the race is on to see which company (player) will be first to meet the requirements of each blueprint.
Does another company have some land and buildings that you would like? Producing a little gold can help you challenge another player’s bot in order to take the land by force.
Outpost Luna’s variety of strategic options will keep you coming back for more. It is an excellent two player game, with up to four players using Pass and Play or GameCenter.
Detailed rules are available online.

Happy Birthday to Wil Wheaton! Turns out Wil is a fan of the original Spaceward Ho! We decided to add in a special star name, Sparks McGee and then also a special Sparks McGee styled hat designed by Paul Campbell. Be sure to play the game on Wil's birthday in order to see the special hat. It is currently available in Google Play and the current iOS will have it soon.
Available on Android
In case you missed it, Spaceward Ho! is now available for iOS, and in Google Play for Android devices and on Amazon for Kindle Fire.
Enjoy!
Glad to see SH on iOS device. A suggestion: Since tech and planet adjustment bars are difficult to select and use (especially on an ipad mini), perhaps pop the panels open to adjust.
I think we will try to add something like that, since we have had a bunch of people say it is hard to use. Thanks for asking a question!

So what are these red clouds or whatever that appear around some stars? They look like the same formation that appears after a supernova, but what does it mean if it's just there without going supernova first?
Great question. As you can see in the screenshot on Spica, it has the red dust clouds. You are correct that it happens with a supernova, but it also happens if there was a "big battle" at that planet. The big battles involve lots of ships fighting it out, and afterwards there will be a red cloud that slowly fades away.
Scrap all ships fix
Development Blog: For those of you out there that like to scrap all your ships and encountered a problem when trying to build new ships, I've added safeguards to make sure that the Build Ship dialog is still usable.
Happy Birthday, Peter Commons (original developer of Spaceward Ho!). It looks like him, too.
We've added the ability to name a star when you rank up from winning a game.
A preview of the graph interface running in the iPad simulator.
