i will not write ⋆ scat, vore, incest (pseudo or otherwise), explicit non-con, age gaps bigger than 10 years, romanticism of abusive relationships, specified race reader (i don't want to offend anyone if i wrote them poorly), bromidrophilia, gender swaps of canon characters

i will write ⋆ a/b/o, suicide / self-harm, pregnancy, breeding kink, any gendered reader, threesomes, watersports, oc's (if given a proper description

minors can interact with me, i clearly put what's going to be in my fics and that's your choice if you chose to interact with that - on that note if you are under 16 please do not interact with me past liking my posts, if your age is displayed on your profile and you comment on a fic / leave an ask etc, i will delete it and block you as i'm uncomfortable interacting with anyone below the age of 16

no because seriously people using ai in their fics is so fucking crazy to me,I saw a post on ao3 that was saying “Most parts are my chats on c.ai with him” ??WHAT MAKES YOU POST THIS HELLO.. I also feel bad because lots of authors get accused of “using ai” these days when they arent because of people like that.. -💙

LITERALLY, the fact people are using an ao3 skin that tells you if it's using claude ai or not is insane, like the fact it's so infiltrated into fics is mind blowing to me

i have seen so many fics on here that scream ai, i'd feel too bad commenting about it but like c'mon guys 💔

i promise y'all, people will read your 'shitty' writing and they will prise you for it and i'd bet my left nipple that a lot of people are a lot better writers than they think they are

i hope to! its more of my mental dilemma 'is it weird to age a 15 year old boy up and write about having sex with him' but then again, we do see him as older in the comics (both in knight fight and that one run i forgot the name of) so i can imagine him as that rather than ageing him up from his mainline self

i have total respect for authors who write longer fics/ those with an entire plot spread across many chapters. so when i read your post i thought damn, fandom etiquette has gone downhills to the point where even (long) one-shots get taken for granted. i get frustrated with blank pages on this platform. most readers don't want to engage with the writer beyond likes as if the writer didn't sit in front of the screen for days up to weeks and months. the same ones who post about how obsessed they are with fanfics don't reblog writers with a varitey of stories. as if we aren't on a literal platform that is built on reblogs.

comments, reblogs and just a simple question to get an story update is apparently not an option. it's idiotic and i have to be honest i do question the emotional intellegence of folks who get bratty on here when they themselves never attempted to write fanfiction/ contribute to the fandom 😛 you are in control of your writing so don't get pressured.

absolutely! people treat fanfics like they've paid for them, and they absolutely have not - if you want stories for FREE you have to do your bit and contribute to stories that maybe aren't exactly what you want, i personally think a large number of tim fics are ooc, but i still interact with them and give the author some love because that's what grants people free stories

it is a PRIVILEGE to read fanfics, authors are not paid shit for their work and creativity, you are reading something that someone made out of pure love, not for profit or reward, but because they love whatever fandom you're reading about, they love writing and they want to contribute to the community

so yes i will be the one in the comments of ao3 spamming a million hearts and 'glazing' the author and telling them how much i loved their fic, even if i didn't like parts of it (like tim's characterisation for example) i will always find something to make a song and dance about because that's what authors deserve

it especially pisses me off when people say 'i can't read anything below 250k' and then never interact with the fic beyond reading it, if you absolutely can not read anything below 100k or even 10k, at least make a fuss over the author and tell them you would give your first born child to them because of how good their fic was

i'm not telling you to lie about whether you enjoyed the fic, but if you read to the end, there was clearly something keeping you reading and you should tell the author what that was and praise them
