Didn’t want to be that guy but How Jax sees/treats Pomni vs How Jax sees/treats others are a trend of fan videos that have bothered me for a long time. They downplay Jax’s abusive behaviors and tendencies to glorify his ship with Pomni, as well as deeming his behavior towards Pomni to not be “that bad” since his behaviors towards the people he has known longer are a little more hostile. It’s not that he is nicer to Pomni rather that he’s less of a shithead to her by a small margin.

Jax having moments of sympathy or being “decent” are built up as him being nice, when it’s just him doing the bare minimum as a human being. Again, people can ship whatever they want but when you downplay the abuse of other people (especially women) to put your ship on a pedestal, I will sideeye you.

They only care when youre profitable. When you're relatable. Able to reblog. Able to repost. They say that it gets better but it doesn't. They say that there's help but there's not. They say to reach out but what does it get you? Nothing. I dont need anyone to be responsible for my mental health. If recovery means burdening others with my problems then I don't want it. I dont need anyone to think they're responsible for when I cut. I don't need anyone to think their responsible for when I die. I like being around people but do i really deserve it? A statistic is all I will ever be. I will never accomplish anything. None of my goals, none of aspirations, it's all futile. Nothing will ever get done. Im too pathetic and stupid to ever get anything done. I haven't animated in years. All the art i make is so shit, it feels like ive been in an art block for years. This will never end. No matter how hard I try, it will never be enough.
