He was often in trouble for things he never did, and was ultimately blamed for the death of his baby brother, Bastien, and Bastien’s twin sister, Claire. They were two years old, and he was twelve. They passed in a house fire, and nobody ever found out if he was the one that caused it or not, but it is widely known that he was smoking pot. His parents blamed him and punished him well for it, and never really looked at him the same way. His father, Henri, was an army man, (which is how he got his name. Armand in itself means army man) and expected very much discipline from the hyper boy. While he was very strict with him, he was also a rather good influence on the boy’s life when he wasn’t causing trouble. He took him to the park, and taught him how to fight and how to make things from metal. His mother, Adélaïde, was a seamstress, and was perhaps even harsher. She would lock him in the closet until his father came home if he had gotten into trouble with her, and would refuse to allow him dinner on nights he had been punished, even if his father wanted him to eat. However, she did teach him how to sew, cook, and paint. Through the years, ‘Sous forced himself to accept whatever pain was brought to him, and learned to blame himself for it. Eventually, he ended up liking pain… either causing it, or feeling it. When he was 16, his father had a heart attack during a fight with him, and he blamed himself. His mother blamed him, too. She threw him out, and disowned him. After being arrested for some stupid crime to survive, she turned him away and refused to help. Shortly after that, she committed suicide. After his hearing, he was sent to an orphanage until he was 18. He was juggled from family to family, but nobody ever kept him for very long, and in between, he sought refuge in the streets, and after killing his roommate at the orphanage, he went on the run, just a few months before his 18th birthday.

He won’t tell you, but he really enjoys music. Classical is his favourite, followed by punk rock.
He wanted to learn how to play piano as a child, but was not allowed.
He loves to cook. If he likes you, he’ll whip you up the best batch of crepes you will ever taste. If you’re near and dear to him, he’ll treat you to a duck dinner.
He sucks at baking. He almost always burns whatever he’s attempting to make.
He can’t spell too wonderfully, so good luck deciphering a text, but he knows how to read. Don’t make him read aloud.
He hates reading, but he likes being read to.
He really likes to be treated nicely, but he won’t ask for it, and he won’t admit to it.
He smokes, drinks, and does drugs.
While he’s a vicious criminal, he is absolutely against rape. If he knows of a rapist, he’ll very likely kill them.
