Welcome to the Grace and Rocky angst train. Love these two blorbos after watching Project Hail Mary but I still think about how much longer Rocky will live.

I sort of headcannon that even after Grace passes away both the enclosure and the Hail Mary will stay on Erid as a memorial/museum to the human that helped save their planet. I picture the second pic right is not too long after Grace passed away and all of Erid is allowing Rocky to grieve

I’m going to the airport wearing an expensive black dress with a diamond necklace and glasses of champagne in both hands, waltzing through, casually reminding my chauffeur to haul my bags in for me. I need 4-5 attractive people (race+gender doesn’t matter) wearing clothes that are not better than mine, and cool sunglasses begging me not to leave, on their knees, barely grasping my dress because they want me to stay but at the same time they know the dress is worth more than anything they can ever afford. Turning around ever so slightly and almost spilling, but not quite all the way there, my champagne, I’ll laugh and say quite loudly, “darlings I have to visit my ACTUAL husband!”

My 99 year old grandmother just let it slip that one of her best friends’s sons committed a murder (no, not a act of self defense, just a truly disgusting act against a woman) and that her friend took her sons side till the end and kept going back to the courts over and over to get him released.

And so I said that there was no way in hell I could be friends with someone who could side with their kid after that, only to be lectured that “you should always take your kids side no matter what.”

So I’m asking tumblr,

Could you be friends with someone whose kid did something unforgivable and vehemently took their side?

Yes, they didn’t commit the crime and you should always be on your kids side.

No, that is truly vile and tells me that they’re not a person I could trust.

It really depends on the situation, it’s a case by case thing for me.

I’m completely neutral on this subject.
