This was a custom order after ANE this last January. The beginning of this spring's string of projects that forced me to get a bit more confident with painting details.

Made a couple of these last year to vend at events, they were a hit with the crowds. Haven't posted them up for online sales yet, I just have this nagging feeling that I could make the design better somehow.
Thanks all for the warm response as I powered through my backlog of photos this last week. To be honest this whole spring I've been stressed with *gestures broadly* in a way that's made me not want to post anything, but my attitude about it this week was very freeing. I was visiting family so couldn't do any crafting, but I needed to send in my dealers app for a couple cons, so I needed to update things to prove I still exist and make things. Thankfully I have months worth of backlog of photos, so I was able to just sort through a bit every day and put them in the queue.
Usually posting is pretty stressful, because I'm fighting to get attention to drive sales. (Also it just takes a long time. Legitimately it usually takes about an hour per item, to sort through a dozen or two photos, pick the good ones, tweak them for color, then prep posts for 4-5 different sites.) But this time I kinda didn't want to make sales, I just wanted to chip my way through this backlog. If I come back home to a stack of work to do, I'll do it and put the money in the bank, but I already have projects on the back burner that I need to get to, so it doesn't really matter if the burst of promotion actually leads to sales right now.
A couple scale bracelets from the archives. Stainless steel for two of them, and the last one is pan pride flag colors in anodized aluminum.

Wolf skull muzzle mask!
This one was bought by a local friend pup/furry last year (not shown here, this is a different friend), and it's become such a part of them that I almost can't think of this design as anything other than their face. Integrated into their fursona and everything. Truly an honor.

When I originally added all these spikes to this design, I thought it would just be ridiculous and fun. But people have seemed to really like it! So next I gotta figure out how to put even more and bigger spikes in somehow.
Gonna do a round-up of some small mask designs. I think I took all these photos before heading to vend at a convention a few years ago, but the photos have been gathering dust cuz the small masks aren't super exciting to post. A lot of these are some of my earliest designs from when I was just starting with leather, but I keep making them because I still think they're fun.
We got:
An eroded design, where it looks like half the mask is rusting and corroding away. When I'm making a batch of masks for stock, I like arranging it so the tattered part is on a part of the hide that has some weird surface texture from a brand or scar. Adds to the texture, and also shows off a piece of leather that would otherwise be discarded.
A robotic design, which I call the Mechanical Oni. Possibly my first design that was assembled out of a bunch of separate pieces? This design works well with contrasting colors.
A very holey design, I was pushing to see how little material could still make a reasonable mask. Abstract, but sort of resembling fibers being pulled apart, or veins on skin, or rivulets flowing on sand.
A clean design with little swirls of wind puffing their way in little eddies across the surface. I really like doing this design in blue colors, especially with some iridescence or sheen to them.
This design I was thinking about the golden age of Hollywood, lights on cinema marquees. Rows of holes of subtly shifting sizes encircle the eyes.
A vampire who's seen better days. Teeth mostly broken away. A shadow of their former self, but still a threat.
Bubbly little design. Frothy even. Might have gone too small on the bubbles to be honest, I may rework this idea some day.
Bandit mask with caged eyes. Shutter shades cuz you're so evil and cool. This design was me riffing on an idea I'd seen Tom Banwell do (the prime inspiration for me when I was starting this, he's been doing laser-cut masks for a very long time, and his stuff has always rocked), but I wanted to try it slimmer and sleeker than he did.

I made it for someone I used to mod a minecraft server with, along with this deer antler collar that I showed off at the time. Sadly due to ✨💫🌟Circumstances🌟💫✨ that group of folks splintered apart right after I made these (weirdly, not unrelatedly), but I'm still proud of these collars. I'm still in touch with the deer from time to time though.
This lunar one was a bit of a test of tooling leather, and while I was pretty happy with how it turned out, I didn't decide to take that up as a skill to develop and integrate into my products on a regular basis. I may eventually have a project idea that's compelling enough for me to buckle down and get good at it, but not yet.

I've been really liking color combos like this recently, they remind me of like, a fancy old lodge with a big fireplace, or a Victorian library. Steampunk but calmed down a bit.

Forgot to post this at the time (was very tired), but due to Reasons (applying for more conventions), here's some photos of my table setup from Anthro New England 2026 this last January. First photo shows Friday morning, second shows partway through the weekend. That first night I was also vending at the night market (last photos), and I had nearly a completely separate set of products from the daytime. As the weekend went on and things sold, I filled in the gaps with collars and other things that I'd been showing at the night market.
The night market setup was a bit scuffed, there was some miscommunication with the hotel and the tables were small and weirdly set up. But I think I managed pretty well. Sales were certainly good.
Green and black dragon muzzle mask, that I shipped out this last week!
This green is sometimes a bit finicky to get the color I want, and it may have ended up a bit on the dark side here. In bright lighting it's got a nice depth to the color, but when it's dim it can fade into shadows a bit.

Actually wait no I lied just then, this simple mask is my most-sold item lately, because it's set up to work with glasses. And almost nobody else makes masks that do that. (And even though I have several designs that work with glasses, this bare-bones simple one is the one that sells.)
They're quick and easy for me to make, I've just made so many copies of them this last year or so that I barely even think to photograph them anymore.

Two leather codpieces that I got made a while back. We got a fig leaf design with a brown dyed base, and my paladin design in a black smooth-finished leather that I been really liking for these sorts of pieces.
It's strange to say, but codpieces are probably my best selling products on Etsy. Especially odd cuz when I'm vending in person, it's much harder to get people to notice them.

Muzzled canine mask that I made for ANE this last January. The idea was to look like a dog locked into a tight metal muzzle. Which meant basically making one and a half masks that nest together. Went for industrial-styled tabs and rivets on the outer muzzle, but smooth hand stitched seams on the inner one. I was quite happy with the final image, though for the next one I'll need to adjust the geometry slightly. (You can see on the inside that the inner nose piece was a bit too wide, and took some squeezing to get in there.)
Sadly I got this one finished just barely in time for the convention, and it sold very quickly at the night market, so didn't have the chance to get good photos of it.
This one's not available for more sales yet, but hopefully soon! Got a few different projects in the air right now, but maybe reworking this one would be a good quick 2-day warmup task.
A lined leather collar with an art deco style pattern cut through the top strap. This one was made with a white base strap, and black liner and top strap. Client needed a longer length, which is why there needed to be a bit of a gap at the buckle. (I can only fit up to a certain length in the laser cutter that I use to cut these patterns out.) The white is a painted finish, which I don't do super often, but it sure does make the pattern pop really nicely.
Also I happened to be making a big spiked collar at the same time, so took some photos together before they made their way to their new homes.
8 oz leather, with nickel finished hardware, hand dyed, painted, sewn, and assembled.

A rainbow stack of bracelets I made during Pride month. I do love these big sets, they're very fun to wear. These ones use colored anodized aluminum and black EPDM rubber rings, so they stretch over your hand.
