In Slipknot’s early days, fans often debated whether the other guitarist, Mick, was taller than Jim. But in a chat, Jim denied it and revealed that Mick was actually much shorter than him. Later, Mick himself revealed during a conversation at Thomann that without shoes he’s 1.88 m (6’2”), while even when Mick wore shoes and stood straight, with Jim standing casually with legs apart and slightly hunched, Jim still appeared taller.

Rumor has it that back in 7th grade, Jim was already nearly 1.9 m tall, and people said he looked way too mature for a 12-year-old American-“like a 30-year-old uncle.”
