BOT OR SCAM ALERT

Hey fan artists/tumblr artists beware blog accounts like this. I was able to find example after example of this "person" leaving the EXACT same message under a variety of posts they liked. Yes your Likes CAN be seen public unless you change it under settings. And voila, very easily I can see them leave a reply after reply on dozens of posts.

Block and maybe report for spam!

This is also for new and young artists. Be SUPER wary about replies asking for "personal" pieces and commissions.

Other red flags; new blog with NOTHING on it. Following only a few blogs, and yes look their their likes if it visible, you will see them spamming countless posts with the SAME message like above.

So these scammer bots use to be super obvious; they would be new blogs but have the generic new tumblr pictures and headers but now they’ve learn to add a blog profile pic and header. They rarely have content on their blog but some do. They always insist on dm’ing people. Not asks but direct messages. Another red flag.

If they become a real nuisance people may start blocking blogs that don’t look real; basically new blogs with no content, no posts of personal kinds, no pinned intro or anything. Which means a lot of people will get blocked because I’ve seen so many new blogs follow me with nothing on their blogs. They don’t reblog, they don’t post. Just an empty blog.

I wonder if my askbox is alive or if they all suffocated in there...

"Guy" and "man" have different connotations with adjectival nouns. Like "tree guy" = arborist but "tree man" = he lives in a tree, or maybe he is a tree.
