Sirius smiled a bit, shaking his head. “Nah, Cher, I’m fine. No harm, no foul.” He chuckled a bit. Checking his watch he sighed. There was no way he was going to get where he was supposed to be now. Oh well, it wasn’t entirely important and he was sort of glad he’d miss it. “This is gonna sound weird, but thank you. I really needed an excuse to not get where I was going. Granted, mowing someone down wasn’t exactly the best way to go about it. I do apologize for that, I really could have swore the path was clear. It’s as if you had just come out of nowhere.” He grimaced a bit, rubbing the back of his neck a bit more. He never really knew what to do in regards to people he ran into, especially when he ended up no longer being in a rush. Part of him wanted to move along, knowing that was probably the better option, but something about the blonde in front of him was interesting to him. It really had seemed like she had come out of nowhere. It had him curious. He just didn’t know how to ask without sounding like a complete loony.
Rose listened, somewhat entertained, as he spoke. She couldn’t tell whether the entertainment came from his accent, or him thinking that running into someone was the strangest way she ever met someone before. Heck, she met the Doctor with him blowing up her job. Running into someone can’t possibly be stranger than that. “Well, I’m glad I could ‘elp.” She ran a hand through her hair as he mentioned the path being clear. “Maybe you ‘adn’t paid enough attention? Or maybe I ‘ad turned too quickly?” She hoped that was enough to convince him. She knew he woudln’t find anything on that end, but she didn’t need him investigating in case of any instability caused by the device that brought her to this world.
