it's really funny to me how despite princes kinda being a Big Thing in fairytales they mean basically jack shit power-wise in kingdom hearts. only male royalty I can think of rn with any actual power within the games is mickey and he married into royalty

i think sometimes you gotta remove the gender first from a character analysis so you think of them without being affected by how you yourself perceive and interpret gender. so you can add it back in on your second pass and can consider it both in isolation and alongside the character itself. like taking a specific ingredient out of a recipe so you can understand the recipe better both with and without it

I do not know #legal disclaimer: gender is very important to characters because it's important to society and culture and all that #but sometimes I think we get too focused on the Girl part of a character and not. the Character part.#<- which is how you know this is about a specific character. I won't name her. you can probably guess though #maybe if I subtract the Girl part first and then add it back in on the second round I will achieve a higher understanding #I think you must also do this with the guys too. you gotta understand the Character as well. both with and without gender
