One consequence of the fact that there’s no such thing as general intelligence is that when you describe a character as a dumbass, that could mean one of several different things.

There are those who are brilliant but unobservant.

There are those who have it all together in their daily lives, but choke hilariously under pressure.

There are those who can carry off a plan like clockwork, but never stop to consider whether the plan’s objective was a good idea in the first place.

There are those who are frighteningly competent within their sphere of interest, and outside that sphere lack even basic common sense.

There are those who just have a talent for picking the most ass-backwards method of achieving any given goal, and somehow make that work.

All of these dumbasses are valid.

It’s worse than that. That wasn’t a rubber bullet, that was another tear gas canister–you can see it a few seconds later in the footage when the camera pans over to the advancing cops.

And they shot him in the crotch with it.

If I were feeling charitable I’d say that the cop who fired the shell was aiming for center of mass and miscalculated the distance and hit the guy low.

But I’m not feeling charitable. It’s clear that was a deliberate malicious attack designed to hurt the guy as badly as possible with the weapon at hand. The goal was to cause him pain and intimidate bystanders.

Everyone commenting on this says it’s Eugenics , but what the post said was financially prepared, not rich. As in if you’ve factored a child into your life and made the appropriate financial and life sacrifices it’s okay. Some poor people take better care of their children than wealthier people because they were willing and ready to put aside whatever it took to raise their child no matter what hardship they themselves will face, this actually incorporates both the mental and financial aspects of being ready to have a child. Whether you’re rich or poor, if you haven’t made a plan or set aside funds for your child it’s unfair to the child. Even if your preparation is making sure you’re on welfare, gathering food stamps and stocking up on free supplies, it’s enough to raise a child, just make sure you’ve prepared and are ready to do anything for that child.

I need to redesign the town that this project (either called AoH or PtP for short) is set in bc I changed the location. Originally, it was gonna be like my homevillage, but since they’re near the equator, I’m going to make a city build in the trees. The buildings go down along with the canopy, and everything has a Disaster Prevention rune on it bc theyre in a Rainforest.

I think I’m going to change the main protagonists. A and U will still exist but!!! They will be secondary characters. I’ve just become more interested in the adventures of two other characters.
