I like to think that when Licorice began dating Parfait no one believed them when they said that they were a couple.

It was mostly because no one could imagine Licorice ever having a girlfriend and Parfait having such horrible tastes in men.

LOOL. Very hilarious to imagine him desperately trying to convince everyone he's got game. "SHE'S REAL!! I SWEAR!!" 😡😡

If I'll be honest though, I enjoy seeing their relationship more as something secretive, in fear of the misjudgement they'd get from both sides. It'd be sort of like a forbidden love where they would only go out at night when no one was awake, or they'd meet up somewhere very privately (like the woods) to have picnics and stargaze together.

I truly think the only ones who would know about them would be Licorice's closest allies Batcat and brute. Only bc he's probably horrible at keeping secrets for long, but he also trusts they are loyal enough not to say anything about it. (They just like seeing their boss happy 😌)

ngl I think it would be hysterical if like.. neither Licorice nor Parfait changed sides like.. that meme where like 'I could fix him but whatever's wrong with him is way funnier' like I do see Licorice eventually leaving the COD, but that boy is NOT good. chaotic neutral at best he's a little too silly, and that's why we love him

THAT'S THE DYNAMIC I LOVE. He'll always be a bit unhinged imo, so I can imagine it'll take some time for him to become "good" or in a more likely case, just not a criminal anymore. I can totally imagine them in place of that one megamind scene fjsksj.

Because I don't see Licorice ever becoming good I like to imagine that Parfait joined the Cookies of darkness to be with Licorice-

I feel like Licorice is more likely to become redemptive and join the good side than Parfait would be to join the cookies of darkness. I mean he only really joined for recognition so he's not entirely committed to the cause as much as someone like Pomegranate would be. I believe, in meeting the right person, he would be persuaded to a moral change. That being said, I'm sure he's 100% tried to convince her that she would make a great addition to the cookies of darkness. (Highly influential, loyal fanbase, etc.) But deep inside, he'd love her for who she is and it would probably break his heart if she were to change into someone different/ crueler.
