Download PDFwriter

Please download and install PDFwriter. We’ll be printing booklet to PDF in class on Wednesday. Via Sean Schumacher:

Download PDFwriter for Mac. PDFwriter is a printer driver for Mac OS X, which will let you generate PDF files by simply printing.

Some of you may run into a slight bug when PostScript printing—it tries to crop your document to letter size, even when you pick a different size of paper. This, though, totally fixes it, although the solution is sort of weird; “printed” PDFs go to an odd folder on your hard drive that you can access by hitting Command-Shift-G and typing in “/Users/Shared/PDFwriter”.

Update for Windows users: If you don’t have Acrobat installed, you may not have a virtual PDF printer, either. There’s a few options out there, but I know I’ve recommended CutePDF in the past and it worked well then.
