Obsessed with the magic system in Sorcery and Small Magics. Casters are completely reliant on spell writers and need to have spells prepped and written up ahead of time in order to do anything. Writers can't perform their own spells (or if they do it'll hurt big time)

genuinely impressive that aaron somehow became my favourite character in aftg like he is The side character and he has exactly 32 lines in the first book (i counted them) one of the central things he does in the narrative is kill a man one of his defining character traits is "mommy issues" and he's a complete asshole. Like professionally. and yet. he's captivated me
