imagine you’re on the brink of having the one thing you’ve always wanted in life when your ex’s fuckass adopted kids show up and tell you the only man you’ve ever loved is dying and ask you point blank how much you love him because you’re the only person in the entire world who can save him and they way convince you is by pointing out that he would do it for you so you go back with them and you hold his face in your hands on his death bed and he bats his eyes awake and the first thing he does is say hello to you and ask if you don’t have somewhere more more pressing to be and even though you gave up everything to be here you tell him that there’s nothing more important BUT the only way for you to save him was to contact his girlfriend who has the technology to keep him alive but only if he leaves you and his kids behind forever and he DOES would that be fucked up or what.
