Hello!

Uhh.. @rosemelodyshah is my main blog and I decided to make this one because I installed Ibix Pixel X and Sketchbook and made stuff

The header and my pfp are made by me about 30-40 minutes ago today (17/1/2024)

This blog is for my artwork, meaning painting, drawing, sketching, doodling, colouring and digital art. And uh, sewing or crochet or pottery (if I ever do them) and other art stuff I suppose.

This blog will most likely not contain writing, so a story I've written or some poetry I made will not feature here.

Making a basket for breab with the new not-actually-yarn I bought yesterday:

Also I found my purple hook!

Idk what's with the red tinge (probably the lights in the room?) because this is like completely white. Like the sort of white that makes all your mistakes stupidly apparent sort of white. And it's like rope yarn or something so that's been a blast to get the hang of. Like it's not yarn or wool at all (the shop actually told me this and I was like yeah that's what I was looking for but I forgot what it is called so I can't tell you what it actually is)

Nyway I've not been following any instructions while making this so now I've to figure out how to start vertical basketing you know

@lestradelurkshere I'm redoing half-ish stitches because I made some stitches wrong but I'm doing crochet!

Okay I thought I removed the first layer but at some point I was actually making more layers? Something is happening and I'm just not going to go through layers from this point on and instead focus on making it bigger:

I made this!! Took me all day but I love it! It a lil bag for my phone!

Ignoring how much my camera sucks, I made a mini cowboy hat:

I wanted to make a bag (taking a break from trying to me a granny square), and then I realised just how much my wool sucks, so I went sideways and made a coaster-ish thing and cut the wool. And then I decided that since my wools were already fraying, I'd torture the poor thing for a beanie, but again, sucky wool, so I ended up doubling the thing, and then.. well, I tightened it up a bit too much I suppose? Anyway, if I had more wool I'd probably managed a somewhat beanie shape (I say somewhat because the video I was following when went into specific pattern for spefic wool weight and something and.. I'm not ready to jump into what all of that is. My wool probably wouldn't qualify either way so). But I got a mean cow beanie for like. Bottle caps or something so tis a success I'd say!

I just stuffed the end in because I am exhausted and my back is screaming I can't learn weaving or whatever rn

Upside down it also looks like a igloo a bit which reminds me of penguins so that's an extra point for me in my book!

@roseisgoat and @boldygowhereitsbigger inside and everyone else please judge whether it's a good first half baked potato thingy or not. I'm going to try and keep it as a first weirdo made how much I improve progress bar thingy (I've regretted letting go of stuff too much)

I can definitely see Mycroft enjoying fencing.

But rugby? It would be his personal hell. I think he would avoid it at all cost, by arranging something like taking an advanced course during rugby lessons.

Sherlock could have enjoyed rugby, but I hc that he hated it due to not getting along with team mates. Maybe he ends up ditching lessons, which leads to an exasperated Mycroft being contacted by the school. But after hearing his brother’s side of the story, Mycroft arranges things so that Sherlock can do something else instead of rugby.

John probably played rugby during his school years and loved it.
