long time no see ✌🏻

back again with another g-dragon update!!!!!!!!!!!!

because i just saw him for the third time of my life, second time of the year

and 8 years~ after the first time

he was being a clown on stage (g-dragon is a comedian alright) and the GOAT that he is at the same time and i was ugly crying/laughing because i adore him and how much he means to me

cried because his speeches made me realise that i too needed a break from myself in order to find my way. my first g-dragon gig was the first step to get better and 8 years later, here i am when i thought i wouldn’t make it past my 25th

here i am turning 30 next month???????? (unbelievable if you ask 17yo me lol)

the last 8 years havent been linear, a few ups and many downs (again nothing ever goes well in life) but i think i found myself, i want selfishly to care more about me than what others might think of me. i want to be proud of who i am and what i stand for. i want to enjoy my hobbies without struggles and overthinking.

coming back just to let you know that dreams do come true ´cause i saw g-dragon perform once again with my own two eyes. last time was back in 2017, a lifetime ago. and!!!!!!! i saw taeyang as well!!!!!!!!! i got to see eyes nose lips, power, home sweet home and good boy!!!!!!!!! dreams do come true!!!! not to be biaised but i swear people were screaming louder for them than any other performers 🙇‍♀️ so i’m truly hoping they heard how people were singing along every word loudly and that they’ll come back 💭

what i want to say is that music is a thing of joy for most people. to love an artist or their work, to root for them, is mostly because the music makes us feel happy and supported and seen. sometimes it just makes passing the time easier. feeling saddened or hurt now is valid and real. a connection like this feels and is personal. you’re a human being with a heart. we all are. take care of yourself and look after yourself in any way you can. processing something like this can take minutes to hours to days. look after your heart and your well-being. take it slow if you need to. be gentle with yourself and be gentle to those you know, if they may need it too. let that gentleness and care echo.
