Choose to cross-stitch either a Jack O’ Lantern pattern or a Halloween Glitch pattern! Cross-stitching and other needlework techniques have been passed down through generations of women; they were often taught to young girls to help develop skills such as patience, dexterity, and attention to detail. The techniques of cross-stitch are quite simple and can be learned by anyone who wants to give it a try. The biggest challenge with cross-stitching is staying committed to finishing a project once you’ve started! During the workshop you might not complete your project, but don’t worry you’ll be provided with enough supplies to take home so that you can finish on your own! $60-1 Session Saturday, October 26th, 10:00am-1:00pm All required materials will be provided. In the end, you’ll have cross-stitched your very own glitch image. Cross-stitching and other needlework techniques have been passed down through generations of women; they were often taught to young girls to help develop skills such as patience, dexterity, and attention to detail. The techniques of cross-stitch are quite simple and can be learned by anyone who wants to give it a try. By using a glitch pattern, it won’t be as obvious if you make a mistake. This is a great way to learn cross-stitching without the pressure of perfection. But the biggest challenge with cross-stitching is staying committed to finishing a project once you’ve started! It’s funny how people think that I like math now that my process is so focused on numbers. I’ll be spending most of today working on this painting, which is a copy of the cross-stitch (top right of photo). To the left of the painting is the pattern I’m using to paint each square one at a time. I did do the math and this painting should take me about 25 hours, which was how long it took me to do the cross-stitch 🧵.
