A Mermaid for Mermay (Digital Painting, CSP)

Timelapse:

Forgot to start recording the timelapse… but at least I remembered before working on the coral reef.

You can see some of the development of the mermaid too, mainly the gills and eyes. Originally, I had a dolphin-esc eye on the boy, but I ended up changing it to a washed out, pale eye more at home on a deepsea fish. Ignore the blinking reference images :)
