Why did I only just now discover a high quality picture of Killian and Solus’ runes right in the midst of drawing them after HOURS of closely inspecting their character art to draw them

KILLIAN’S RUNE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BIRD IN FLIGHT? (Dont ask why but for some reason I genuinely thought it was an anvil from how it looked in the character art)

MWAH.#I was drawing it and was like ‘ouhhh wait that’s so fire considering he’s a healer’#also bird imagery for Killian’s too? and considering his characterisation of taking risks and making his own decisions it’s also very MWAH #killius aside I think Anya’s is supposed to be a constellation (correct me if I’m wrong) but idk which one but nevertheless VERY VERY COOL

People of the land is my favourite out of the KCD1 ost and when combined with the main menu it gives me chills when combined with the main menu which is literally either the outskirts of Skalitz or Henry’s home (recent revelation).

Because this was his home as well as the home of the villagers that lived there, and for that to be suddenly burned down into nothing in what seemed to be in the span of minutes to hours is a jarring thought.

As well as the hint of melancholy, further into the track it also kind of gives this hopeful tone despite the strings showing the former lingering. It’s nice to listen to when you’re travelling and taking in the scenery and for some reason it’s good at putting me in a thoughtful state which is also why I’m quite fond of it

If there’s like one novice out of the four I could NEVER in a million years be mean to it’s novice Lucas, he’s genuinely so sincere and carries this hope with him that things will get better despite his circumstances and that really makes me wanna hug him ☹️☹️

Watched through 21 & 22 jump street (the films that partially influenced Jacob and Evie’s dynamic according to Yohalem, the main writer of the story) and now I’m convinced that the Frye twins would’ve possibly thrived if they were given some form of family therapy

#asscreed #assassins creed syndicate #jacob frye #evie frye #frye twins #this is considering there’s literally a relationship counselling scene #Schmidt’s talking of how they can barely work together anymore and is trying to keep them together meanwhile #(cont.) meanwhile Jenko’s talking of how he wants to separate from Schmidt because he follows him around and clings onto him essentially #and then the it clicks for the two about the case the moment embedding gets brought up #which also kind of foreshadowed their dynamic in a way #don’t trust my memory I’m completely unreliable #I’m simply paraphrasing what I recalled from the scene #the interview I got it from states how Jacob is Jenko whereas Evie is more Schmidt but tbh I see traits from both characters in them #i can see where the angle was with it though considering Evie like Schmidt is the brains and Jacob like Jenko is the brawn #the inspiration is VERY prominent in the sequel compared to 21 jump street #especially with the whole premise of branching out and dividing yet realising they work better as a team #honestly seeing the influence was partially why I wanted to watch the jump street films but I actually ended up enjoying them #also finding out the guys behind the Lego movie worked on those was a plus as well #Yohalem mentions it twice iirc how Jacob and Evie were inspired by buddy-cop films but more specifically 22 jump street #(the assassins den interview and the echoes of history podcast episode)#anyway yap session over
