“Do you know how bloody hard it is to find motorbike parts for my bike? Pretty hard.” Sirius complained to the nearest person.
“No, I don’t. But I’m hoping that someday soon I’ll have my own bike and I’ll be the one complaining about how hard it is to find motorbike parts.”
“What? Don’t look too surprised, I do know how to study.”
“Hilarious. Really. Now if you’ve not got something important to say, then please just move along.”
“you know you love me.”
“You don’t look all that fine, you know.”
“Yeah I’m sure,” Artemis said, looking away to try and somehow hide her tears. She didn’t want anyone, not even Lucinda, to see her like this.
Artemis looked up from what she was doing. “I’m fine. Go away.”
“It was fun,” Artemis said with a laugh. “But all good things have to come to an end. If I hadn’t dragged you out you would have gotten kicked out. You’re a bad boy, mr lestrange,” she said trying and failing to sound serious. She broke into laughter. She’s had waaaay too much to drink, too.
“Oh, come on now.” Rab laughed, and he nudged her gently with his elbow. “I would have been fine, it was my parent’s party.” He grinned over at her. “If anything, they would have shouted at me tomorrow. We should have stayed!”
"You would have been okay. But your mother looked like she wanted to throw me into azkaban prison." She shook her head with a laugh. Honestly she had been a little nervous among the elite. Most of the people avoided her and didn't care to know anything about her but a few had been asking questions about her pure blood parents. Questions she couldn't answer because she didn't have pure blood parents. But that hadn't been why she had dragged rab away. She pulled a bottle of dragon barrel brandy out of her purse. "I snagged this before we left. Now we can drink for free and without the disapproving glares of your mother."
Artemis snorted. “i think it’s easier getting a troll to do tricks than it is getting a flat. Looks like I’m going to have to return home after leaving Hogwarts afterall.”
“I don’t think I want to return home,” Ted shrugged. “Of course, my brother’s still there so they probably wouldn’t mind having me for a little while, but I - I’d rather get my own place and not have to worry about my sister being hurt again or anything.”
"I really don't want to go home. I... I can't go home. But it feels impossible to find a flat, specially since I have no money and no job."
“Trust me.. it was time to go.” Artemis laughed, equally drunk.
“But drinking was fun.” Rabastan almost whined his words in his drunken state. “I liked drinking all that expensive alcohol for free.”
"It was fun," Artemis said with a laugh. "But all good things have to come to an end. If I hadn't dragged you out you would have gotten kicked out. You're a bad boy, mr lestrange," she said trying and failing to sound serious. She broke into laughter. She's had waaaay too much to drink, too.

Artemis had definitely had too much to drink the night before. She was passed the hell out, a little drool trailing from her lips.
Doris snickered at the girl on the floor and nudged at her with her foot to try and wake her up. “You might want to get up, there are some first years headed this way and I’m pretty sure they don’t need to see you passed out and smelling worse than a dingy bar.”
"I'm pretty sure I don't give a shit what a bunch of first years need or don't need. And if you nudge me again, I'll fucking jinx you, Purkiss."
“I know.” Sirius simply grinned at her when she called him an arse. “I don’t know, I’ve woken up in worse places than the school’s grounds.”
Artemis picked up a cup with a little liquid in it. She sniffed it. Firewhiskey. Artie drank down what was left of the alcohol and looked up at Sirius. “What are you doing here? Didn’t you graduate or something?”
“You’re no fun.” Sirius crossed his arms over his chest as he approached and glanced down at her again.
“you’re an arse,” Artemis said as she looked up at him, her chest still heaving from the tickling. She groaned at her own loudness and winced at the brightness of the sun. She sat up with a groan, looking around. “Merlin... could I have picked a worse place to be hungover?”
Sirius was looking down at Artemis passed out, he was on his way across the grounds when he came across her. He glanced around first then took his wand out, stood a good few feet away and sent the tickling charm at her, putting his wand away once it was cast.
Artemis woke up to the tickling sensation. She squirmed on the ground, laughing. The laughing and movement hurt her pounding head and she was disoriented for a moment before managing to grab her wand out of her boot and cast the counter-charm. She lay there panting for a moment.
Sitting on top of the school desk, Hadley folded her legs together as she held out her wand out in front of her. “Expecto Patronum,” she said with as much feeling as she could muster. The white mist shot from the end of her wand but sputtered and disappeared as soon as she cast the spell. She frowned, “great.”
“Looks like you need a happier memory,” Artemis said. She hadn’t meant to spy on Hadley, but she had been walking by and heard her.
“Getting a flat can’t be all that hard,” Ted mumbled before looking up from his homework. “Right?”
Artemis snorted. “i think it’s easier getting a troll to do tricks than it is getting a flat. Looks like I’m going to have to return home after leaving Hogwarts afterall.”
“Why are you making me leave? I want to stay – and no, I’m not that drunk.”
“Trust me.. it was time to go.” Artemis laughed, equally drunk.

“I wouldn’t pay anyone to share with me, especially someone like you.”
Artemis glared at Doris Purkiss. They had never gotten along. Doris irked Artemis. “Then take your cheap booze and find somebody else to annoy.”
