wait if gorgug’s a cyclops but nobody knows are things just randomly breaking around them

gorgug is still very freakishly tall but people don’t question it, his parents just say he had a huge growth spurt

yeah riz is absolutely short, cajt imagine a normal sized riz, tho for this au he’ll probably be more like 4’10” 4’11” ish

if gorgug is a cyclops is riz a satyr or some other kind of thing

i thought about it but didn’t think riz really fit into what percy jackson describes a satyr of that makes sense? part of the reason that i decided to make gorgug and cyclops was because i thought it would be funny to play with the concept of no one knowing he’s a cyclops at first. similar to how percy doesn’t realize tyson is a cyclops when he first meets him, the most clouds his face from him. it’s very similar! in comic format i think it would be funny to have the frame cut off his head lol at least before he realizes he’s a demigod/cyclops. until then gorgug just does a double take whenever he looks in a mirror

yes! kristen is helioic up until she finds out she’s a demigod, and even then stays in denial about the whole situation. essentially kristen was raised believing he in helios in what was essentially a cult, she was adopted but doesn’t find that out until she’s found by a satyr from camp halfblood and then a spiral of deconstructing begins

is the plot of your fh pjo au going to conform to the normal fantasy high plot or percy jackson plot or are you making up a new one

so for this au i’m aiming to get a lot of the silliness and mystery from fantasy high with the quest format we get from percy jackson of that makes sense. i still want to hit the big character moments from fantasy high tho!! this is more like; what if the bad kids were demigods who went to camp halfblood?

currently working on my fantasy high percy jackson au and currently running with the civ pet that none of the bad kids know their godly parents except fabian and riz. you think bill seacaster wouldn’t brag about a literal goddess being in love with him? in fact be bragged about it fabian’s whole childhood but fabian thought it was a joke. and riz is nothing if not curious, so when he looked into his dad who was supposedly a spy who died heroically overseas, he doesn’t know if he should be shocked or disappointed to find out the truth. cause like, your dad being a god is cool and all, but why THAT one?

Riz Gukgak will forever be my special little guy, because in a world where aspec characters are borderline non-existent, he was not just a cool character who happened to be aroace. He also had an incredibly compelling character arc unique to him as an aspec, and the character arc was so iconic it birthed one of the most memed moments in the entire series.
