Artemis shook her head at his words,exhibiting a small smile as she placed her phone in the back pocket of her jeans.”There’s no need to apologize,it was bound to happen any time soon.”She affirmed,chuckling quietly.”Yeah,could’ve definitely been worse. I mean,I was expecting it to be completely shattered.”

Jordyn knew it was all just an accident so there was no need for the other to worry about the incident. Looking at the device in the other’s hand, she gave a small smile. “That’s good to hear. I swear I drop my phone on something as soft as my bed and it gets the biggest crack on the screen. It’s fucking ridiculous.”

It calmed how to see how Jordyn was so cool about it,knowing that she wouldn’t cause a scene like other people would. A small chuckle escaped her lips at the other’s words,nodding her head.”It has happened to everyone,I let my old phone fall on the rug once and it stopped working,I guess it was just looking for a reason to quit.”

xryandavis —having just gotten off work, a night shift, the first and only thing on his list was to get a cup of plain black coffee and that was it, the last thing he needed before heading home. it was one of those rare times where he actually did feel tired and like he could get some sleep, and not even coffee could ruin that. seeing the woman approaching he made to the right, looking down briefly to check his phone when she bumped into him. reflexively, he held the cup out, saving them both from a bigger mess, only spilling some coffee on the sidewalk. even though he inwardly sighed, his face did not betray his annoyance; perhaps he wasn't the only one who noticed the other coming the opposite way and tried to avoid them, he too should have been paying attention. her question made a smile tug at the corner of his lips. was he okay? he barely moved, anyway, for he was noticeably bigger than her. "are you alright?" he asked as he bent down to pick her phone up for her, before handing it over.

Artemis felt extremely guilty,knowing she was at fault in the situation. She was the one distracted with her phone,careless about what could possibly happen. The impact of her body bumping into his much bigger one caused her to stumble back a bit,feeling a bit lost. Adjusting the strands of her brunette locks,she glanced up at the tall male. Her gaze kept shifting from his eyes to the coffee spilled on the floor before finally fixating on his features.”Yes I am. Again,I’m so incredibly sorry.”Artemis apologized once again,smiling politely to the other as she took her phone from his hand. Fortunately for her,her phone didn’t have any cracks but only small scratched and seemed to work. ”Let me buy you a new cup of coffee to make it up to you,since I clearly ruined that one.”She offered with a soft tone,truly sorry for the small accident.

I don’t know about my phone but I’m truly afraid to find out.”She said while reaching down to pick up her phone,whose screen was slightly broken.”It’s small,nothing too bad I guess. At least it still works!”

jxrdyns Jordyn had been sluggish all day, not having enough time to run to The Butter Stick for a quick cup of joe before her morning appointment so she just had to go without until she was done. However, after a two hour session, she was finally able to get a cup in her hand. As she was walking about to her shop, her eyes were trained on a shop front instead of in front of her, which ended with her running into another. “Fuck.” she muttered, checking the front of her outfit. “It’s okay. No spills and I didn’t fall on my ass so it’s all good. I didn’t get anything on you, did I?”

Artemis knew something could happen if she used her phone while walking but still did it anyway. She knew she was at fault here and it made her feel terribly bad,even if the other female had no injuries.”Still,I am so so sorry. It’s all my fault,I was just distracted and ended up bumping into you.”The lawyer said,sighting softly. “No no,I’m all fine.”Reassured the blue-eyed female,bending down to pick up her phone. Seeing it was broken,she sighed heavily before unlocking it.”At least it still works.”

Normally,Artemis would never use her phone while walking since it would end up distracting her and would mostly cause small incidents but she was waiting for a reply from her boss. Anxiously,she would check her phone for any notifications whenever she could and it ended up making her bump into someone. Her phone fell on the floor,screen down.

”Oh shit.”She mumbled,more to herself before looking at the person.”I’m so sorry,are you okay?”

frcnkiesainz Frankie liked the peace and quiet the library maintained, he had grown tired and perhaps a little lazy and enjoyed having nothing really do to but organize books and help the townsfolk out with their inquiries. He wasn’t an tidy person by nature, or perhaps he had been at one point in his life but the years and worn him down and he found himself preoccupied by other things. Nonetheless, there were times when he found solace in tucking himself away in one of the aisles and dedicating a good amount of time into getting everything in order.

A small cough from the end of the aisle tore Frankie’s attention away from shelving the books and instead he turned to look at the person standing there. He heaved himself up off of the ground with a sigh and walked over.

“Do you need something?”

Since her younger years,Artemis had always been a fan of books. Growing up without any siblings and little to no attention from her parents led her to find her own hideaway in books. With her work going better and better each day,finding time to read any type of book that didn’t talk about law was getting harder and harder but she was ready to change that. Artemis had been searching for a book that sparked her interest for the past twenty minutes and she had yet to find one that got her hooked.

As she scanned her vibrant blue eyes through all the titles written in the books’ spine,she let out a quiet cough before shifting her attention back to the stories. Artemis jumped slightly at the sound of another voice,not aware that there was someone else present in the aisle.

“Uhm...”She began in a quiet tone,looking at the male.”Actually,yeah. I need help finding something new to read. Could you help me,please?

It was unusual for Artemis to walk back to her house from her office but after what seemed like a calm day at work,she couldn’t help herself but to relax as she walked down the streets,earphones plugged in as she enjoyed the old tunes. The second one of her favorite tracks started playing,she heard a distant voice that made her take off one of her earphones. Looking at the male who was about her height,she furrowed her eyebrows with a small smile.”I’m sorry,I didn’t quite catch that.”She displayed a sweet grin,curious to know why he was covered in dirt.” Were you talking to me?”
