i do NOT LIKE THIS!! im not “great” im just alive!! ive been doing this intensely for 11 years and im only good because ive spent an ungodly amount of time doing it! and im miserable as a result! ive spent so much time dedicating myself to this shit and im absolutely miserable and wish i had spent my time living and letting myself breathe! i made myself grow up too fast and its something i have immense regrets about! in addition, ill never be as great as you! we are both contributing something to the world that is specific to us, ill never be able to bring what you bring into the world and the people in your life. ill never be able to make what you are capable of making. comparing yourself to others is a trap! ive been there before! dont fall for the trap! you need to acknowledge the good that you bring to the world. as far as art goes, try making something for the sake of making it. see what happens when you indulge in stupid ideas and force yourself to create something out of them. that is literally all i do. all of my work is me indulging in ideas i think are stupid and i push myself to create something out of it, doing that a million times made me able to make things that were worthwhile because i had so much practice working with dumb shit. be nice to yourself. heres a presentation i made for my csssa students about simplicity, following your instincts, embracing your train of thought, using whatever you have access to, and keeping your execution simple (make sure to look at the speaker notes while you look at this) make work for yourself! dont show it to anyone! just make stuff and see where it takes you! dont compare yourself! you will be ok! i love you!

What are half the music you use for your animations because they sound really amazing plus keep on making more animation there incredible

From first to latest i think it’s  “Lady you shot me” by Har-Mar Superstar, “This train don’t stop there anymore” by Elton John, and “Believe” by Cher...OH, and then another was some “mash up” i found on youtube using Offspring’s “All i want” and a song from idol master (i think?) I like big ballad stuff for the animations cause they’re the easiest to listen to the lyrics and usually they have great context that you can play around with. And THANK YOU, they’re a lot of fun but i probably spend WAY to much on em when they’re supposed to be just practice (haha) You’re work is looking great as well, homie. Keep up the awesome and post a bunch.

For every hate mail I get from an internet stranger, I get one message from a professional artist thanking me for saying what I said.
