Recently I made a Pinterest account and noticed that a lot of people there are arguing over ships.

What’s the point of attacking ships you don’t like? Different fan groups are fighting each other just because they have different opinions on certain pairings, and it’s turning what should be a nice community into a complete mess. Instead of wasting time arguing, why not spend that energy creating more content for the ships you actually love?

What I want to say is: every ship has its own fanbase. Please don’t force your opinions on others just to promote your own preferences. If you don’t like a certain ship, then simply avoid related content instead of attacking people who enjoy it or commenting things like, “___ ship is so annoying!” under someone else’s work. Respecting other people’s preferences is the least we should all be able to do.
