Hi there! This is my wonderful husband and our cat, and our little family is needing some help make ends meet while my husband looks for a new job. He was hospitalized and let go a day later just as we were moving into new housing.

$300 is our adjusted goal this week as I just had to pay a maxed out credit card bill before I get my next paycheck. We have water and electricity bills due tomorrow as well and then I will basically not have enough for rent next month. My husband’s unemployment will not be enough either.

I’ve been doing my best to work my full time job, donate plasma, sign up for dog walking and TaskRabbit for my area, and nothing has been enough. My husband is also submitting to some music contests, but we don’t know the turn around time for hearing back on winners. I’m thinking about making physical posters for my area, but this is ultimately really hard to ask for help and I don’t want to resort to that or sw if I can help it.

another friend has sent about $275 after fees and conversion through Kofi (stripe)! We almost have just enough for what we need for our first part of rent payment (total of $2,105 with fees).

I currently have about $800 and my paycheck is expected to be at lowest $1500. I will know by tonight/tomorrow morning. However, we also need to get food/refuel my husband’s car until his first week’s paycheck on the 12th.
