It is Barbie season and this was my favorite barbie I ever had!
She was the dance n twirl barbie that came with a remote to make her spin on her moving platform. I could spend hours watching her dress spin or have her twirl the dance floor with ken.

Started doodling this as a warm up sketch but kept going as it was soothing and fun to make. It's outside what I usually do except for the sailor moon part.
Happy mermay! I started this during covid and every once in awhile I'd go back to work on it yet still didn't finish it. The idea was to remake one of my favorite pieces that I made many years ago. So I said that's it!, this is the perfect time to get it done.
I decided it would be a fun challenge to make her more creepy and dark than the original.

Princess Mars
Fear not I wouldn't dare leave out the firey Mars. I thought it only right to give her background a traditional Japanese inspired look.
Princess Venus
I love the style of venus princess dress even though I'm not the biggest fan of yellow.
Wasn't quite sure what to do for the back ground at first. I was inspired by her whip and one of her older transformations where there was alot of stars in it.
Princess Jupiter
I've always loved her color combination of green and pink. Jupiter doesn't always get the attention she deserves so I drew her next. I'm glad I did because she turned out spectacularly!
Soooo it's been awhile... however! Good news I decided to draw the princess versions of the scouts starting with the main four. First off Princess Mercury!

I did this as a thank you/Christmas card for a family friend. It was nice working with physical watercolors again.

Had a great October this year! November will be a bit slower but I have several things in the works right now that im excited for. Overall I'm real proud of what I've accomplished and hope everyone enjoys the journey with me! Thanks to all my followers, everyone who has liked and rebloged
