Concentrate: Learn how to concentrate by doing one thing at a time. Avoid distraction. You can practice by talking to wife for 1 hr continuously without any distraction, talk to your children for one hour without any distraction.
Energy: Give your energy only to your goals avoid energy draining people activities from your life. You have to save your energy for the purpose you want to achieve. Get away from energy draining vultures like facebook, music, movies etc
Mind: Dandapani gave a beautiful example of mind and awareness. For eg mind is a pack of different emotions, sad, anger, sex, confusion, passionate, stressed etc. You allow your mind to be any of these and for eg if you take your awareness to be in anger you feel so bad and you go through all of the side effects of it. In the case of films also the director does the same. Once you are in the film theater you actually allow him to take your awareness to go through the different emotions. So in fact you had a choice you can control of your awareness or can loose the control of it by giving it to anybody or the material world.
Meditation practice: You only need to spend 1hr of day for meditation rest of the day you should prepare for that meditation event. So the preparation is really important here and that makes the 1 hr more sacred.
Affirmation: Always allow affirmation in your mind for example if you want to achieve something, go through the feeling of achieving it and it will automatically bring the situations to achieve it. This is similar to power of subconscious mind. Bring in positive affirmations and you are going to achieve it for sure.
