The Doctor is: Retired
Hello!
I've not been very active on this account for a while. I can come up with only so many lil quotes and names for bugs and I feel like it's been pretty stale and samey for a while, so I think I will officially retire this account.
The archive is still available for anyone who wants to look at it. If you wanna look at cool bugs, I'd recommend using iNaturalist and Flickr. That's where I sourced my images from, and there are a lot of really cool ones that weren't Creative Commons so I couldn't post them.
Most of my Blogging Energy nowadays is spent on @vgbugs, which at the time of writing has daily queued posts until Feb. 10, 2026. Check it out if you want to see bugs from various video games!
I occasionally also post art on @big-bee-png, which sometimes includes bugs.
I might still occasionally reblog one of my older posts or may even post new ones, but overall don't expect much more activity here. I simply don't have the energy to maintain two blogs like this properly.
