feeling insane about malevolent, but i think the thing that is Really getting me right now is how arthur was acting before... That Occured. like yeah he was scared, which he says to john directly (and harlan himself said this), but once john starts mentioning how he doesn't want to do everything alone and he doesn't know how to do it alone, arthur immediately changes his tune. rather than wallowing in the pain and fear he feels about the fact that he's about to die, he starts comforting him. telling him that the pain of him being gone wouldn't last long. saying that no matter what happens, he has a friend in arthur. john mentioned in the eulogy feeling lost after stealing arthur's eyesight, so arthur goes out of his way to tell him that he didn't look at it like that. he saw it as a gift, which is a intimate love form. he wanted to make sure john knew he was loved and cared for before he died, leaving him alone. before every person in the world who loves john is gone.

I finally had time to catch up with malevolent and, god knows, the last episode destroyed me. It was beautiful in its tragedy, but I am however quite concerned with how the rest of the episodes will be structured. I suspect that it will have something to do with Yellow but this is based on a throaway line and may very well just be a false hope (even though there are many reasons why I think it should happen). Another character who seems to have made a comeback is Scratch/Lilith and strangely it somehow it gives me hope for Arthur (idk maybe I'm just delulu)

okay, okay, hear me out, episode 57 opens, theyre in new york, both fully intact and alive, theyre confused but then they see the fading spectre of the dollmaker behind them "i was just so impressed by your friendship and your cause, i fixed the body" they say before they fade away. then kayne shows up, and sees how happy and well adjusted and what good friends john and arthur are and so he kills himself, then noel and oscar show up, theyre not dead theyre fine! and everyone hugs, and they buy a house together and they live happily ever after and no one ever dies ever agajn

Ok so it's finally done I can't believe I made it but here it is, after months of work the baby boy is finished.

It honestly took more time to realise I'm not god and I'm not yet able to weave in complicated patterns and resolve to swiss darn the whole thing than to actually knit and darn it but oh well.

That being said I would like to thank my malevolent fixation for convincing me that I deserved to have tma and malev merch and that I could in fact make it myself.
