She was so cold and strong. Even when she shifted to Female Titan, despite her scary presence, I could not take my eye off of her beautiful physique. She is female Levi, in many ways. Her strength, painful past, and deadpan character.
Armin is polar opposite of Annie. He’s warm, smart, and cogent. No wonder Hange posted him as her successor. He has much in common with Hange even with his way of death. Both throw themselves into a flame for greater good.
Annie must have liked Armin early on, and he perceived it. That’s why it was Armin who lured her into the underground at the operation stohess.
Armin probably did not love Annie at first, however, he grew to love her after visiting her in the crystal shell. Was it because of Berthold or was it Armin? I don’t think that’s important. Canon in AOT is always so subtle and IH had to strongly openly affirm that they are a canon. IH probably loves to pair people of opposite character.
The 2 having a warm conversation on the ship, and Mikasa worrying for Armin at their separation is a very heart-warming scene. I really wish them luck.
I was going to color this but I’m a senior in college and coursework is really amping up.
