My Gripe With Arthur McFly's Design

Something that bugs me about Arthur's design is the fact that the ribbon on his hat is red and not green. It completely throws off his color scheme and it bothers me.

Here's a diagram to demonstrate what I mean:

The thing is, green is already a good color to contrast the brown and cream colors in Arthur's design. The hat itself is the same color as his shirt, which has the green tie to contrast it. He also has green eyes, which adds to his overall green color palette. So I have to ask, why is his hat's ribbon red? It's a really odd color choice. If the ribbon was green, it would unify his design way more. Additionally, there is no red present in the rest of his design, which makes it stick out like a sore thumb.

Maybe it's just me liking limited color palettes, but I genuinely feel like making the ribbon green would make it look way better. I made an edit to show how it would look if the ribbon on Arthur's hat was green.

What do you think? Should the ribbon on Arthur's hat be green or should it stay red?
