[  ✿  ] She jumped a bit and skipped around, over tree roots and little puddles of water as she excitedly circled her friend Gakupo, he was a dragon just like he had said ! And she was so excited about this as she finally stopped in front of him, throwing her arms up and making an excited little noise before she hugged him and laughed. She then looked up to him, eyes almost sparkling as she thought of something that could be really fun ! 

    ❛ Gakupo !! Can you take me flying ? I wanna see what it looks like up in the sky ! ❜

[  ✿  ] Sure she has been in the air plenty of times with airplanes but never just out in the open, and not since she has come to this strange place for her sudden “vacation”, as she called it, So if she had the chance to possibly see above the tree line with a friend too, she wanted to take it, she still cling to his arms with both of hers but rocked on her heels a bit, like a hyperactive child as she giggled

Gakupo watched Miku’s hyperactive antics with a small smile on his face. While in the past, it tended to overwhelm him, over time he had grown quite used to - and even fond of it to an extent. It was refreshing to see that she was managing to stay carefree regardless of their current circumstances. It was something that he had always admired about her. 

“You want to go flying...? Mmm, I think that is something that can be accomplished.” It wasn’t like he wasn’t used to doing a lot of heavy lifting. This also gave him the perfect opportunity to test out his body’s capabilities, though he didn’t doubt that he would be able to carry Miku on his back. “Might be a little risky, but what is life without taking a few chances here and there?”

GENERAL

Name: Gakupo Kamui Age: 26 Height: 6′10″ (yeah he got taller)  Race: Draken Allegiance: The Kingdom of Xalphina (mostly rouge though)  Appearance: Trading in mechanical parts for dragon parts, Gakupo sports many features common among his race but leans towards being more dragon-like than human-like. His body is spotted with violet scales, with his arms and legs becoming completely covered in them past his elbows and knees. His hands and feet are now clawed and while he retains having relatively normal hands, his feet resemble talons with three claws in the the front and one in the back (allowing him to grip onto things to hang upside down or vertically on a surface). He has large, powerful wings that allow for easy flight, a tail that reaches past his feet, and large horns on the sides of his head. His eyes are now a much brighter shade of teal, with slit pupils. If he opens his mouth, you’ll find that most of his teeth are sharp and pointed, perfect for ripping into flesh.

Another soul-shaking cry echoed throughout what remained of the city. But it wasn’t merely glass that shattered this time, but the world around them. Cracks began to form in the sky, pieces falling like gigantic shards of glass into the ocean and the wasteland that was once Spirale. All would be dark if not for the light born from the blessings gifted to the remnants by the mysterious force.

WEAPONIZE… YOUR HOPE            GIVE… YOUR STRONGEST… BATTLECRY                     RELEASE… THE LIGHT… INTO THE BEAST…

A gigantic hand reached forth from the hole, three elongated digits in place of the five expected of a human. It reached into the hole below and continued to reach, the arm seemingly endless. What was it searching for? No one could be sure.

Gakupo stared at the vacant eyes in the hole, taking in a sharp breath. The voice in his head, the voice of the scientist, had told him to prepare for a fight. As much as he had sworn to retire from that life, he knew now that he wasn’t going to have any other choice. It was for the sake of protecting the ones he loved, who he knew couldn’t fight and kill like he could.

“Fine...if it is a fight that they want, then a fight they shall get...” He cracked his knuckles. He had a short amount of time to prepare himself. Hopefully there was something around here that he could use to sharpen the wooden sword in his possession into something that could actually cause some damage. Or, if he was lucky, he could find someone who could lend an actual weapon to him.

“...” Gakupo wasn’t even certain that he could put what he was feeling right now into proper words. Everything was happening too intensely. It was as if rapture itself had descended upon Spirale, and for all he knew that could be exactly what was happening. “This can’t be happening...I...I need to find the other vocaloids...”

9:00PM EST, MAY 30th

It was becoming clear that it was not wind being stirred, but rather the hole itself was a vacuum. Strongest on the island outskirts, sea water began to lift from the ocean and swirl towards the hole’s center as the intensity of the storm increased. From the edges of the island trees were torn, building remnants sucked into the sky.

And yet the people remained glued to the ground, a subtle and reassuring light emanating from within each outsider. The NPCs weren’t so lucky. 

Towards the city’s center the lightning continued, but with it an increasing frequency of balls of flame tearing down from the sky. While the outsiders couldn’t be harmed by them, it seemed regardless of protection from powers that all that were struck by these balls of flame were destined to crumble.
