peace does not last long. nor does privacy for that matter. kanda’s too busy rushing toward kit to think about anything else. his skills are more refined than her’s and he makes it to his drawers before she does. he stops her in her tracks with his foot and shoves her towards the door.

“ go bother someone else, “ he says in his usual cold voice. “ AND I’M NOT YOUR BROTHER. “

“you’re my brother now.” kit says stubbornly, tryin--&& FAILING--to move past kanda to swipe one of his shirts.

why is she bothering this pile of sour grapes? not for any truly ulterior motives. SHE REALLY JUST DECIDED TO SWIPE A SHIRT. not that it matters, though; she’s sure in kanda’s eyes that this is some kind of deep, deep violation of his privacy. not that kit cares any.

“Well, alright.” She holds Kit’s hand, for fear she’ll run off again. She brings them to a hallway with a closet. A few brooms get pushed aside to reveal a ladder and Charlotte lets go of Kit for just a second to climb up it. Once she’s up, she leans her head over the opening. “It’s actually pretty nice. But definitely not flying weather, so be careful around the edges up here.” A hand is extended out in case Kit wants it.

kit runs around the outside, spinning her arms around in circles for a few moments, before she proceeds to run to the edges. her eyes glimmer with a manic light, before she’s approaching an edge, curious to see if she’ll fly if she gets too close. && BY FLY, she means falling with style.

“What about the sky??” She calls, following Kit’s lead by knocking over the finders that were just getting up from being barreled down by the other exorcist. “I know a way onto the roof!!”

“I CAN FLY. I AM IMMORTAL. HUMANS HAVE CREATED ME FOR ONE PURPOSE ALONE.” kit cackles maniacally, turning around to barrel into a finder, grabbing charlotte’s hands. “show me.”

“GONNA SEE THE SKY!!!” kit yells back, jumping over a set of steps, crashing into thirty finders.
