#Puglia, the southern part of Italy, down in the ābootā must be added to your travel destinations. From #Ostuni, aka the āWhite City, to Gallipoli, a #gay destination, to #PolignanoaMare, the most stunning swimming hole Iāve ever seen, you will have your mind blown and eyes bedazzled. #Italy won me over on my first visit in 2008, and 11 years later I find myself even more enchanted. There is something so romantic about this iconic and ancient country. The history, the culture, the food (I cried during a meal because of how good it was on this trip), and the people really make this part of the world beyond special. I travel a lot. I enjoy myself almost everywhere, but #Italia sits within my top 3 favorite places to visit. I could not be more grateful for all of this trip so far, and watching one of my best friends get married in an orange orchard made this experience even more incredible. Something happens to your #soul when your travel, itās a form of education, opening, and #soul healing that many of us, especially my #LGBT brothers and sisters not only desire, but need. Make sure when you do travel, you get a bit off of the beaten path, you say hi to the locals, and you leave part of yourself with them because you will take part of each place with you.
