Commonpress #47, Cracker Jack Kid [Chuck Welch] (Omaha, NE) [1982] --- founded by Pawel Petasz in 1977, Commonpress was a mail art mainstay. A different editor/compiler facilitates each issue through the eternal network. For this issue, contributors were asked to send in 2-sq-ft of fabric from old clothing. The paper & folder were handmade by Welch from the pulped fabric he received, hence the subtitle "Material Metamorphosis" for the issue. Let this be: EVIDENCE OF TRANSITION.
