I love Tangled The Series because they made an effort to create multiple original kingdoms that populate the world. They put effort in to make the world very unique and original. And also Italy is there too.
Currently trying to decide whether Italy gets to remain in my rewrite xD Cause on one hand, it'd make it so I don't have to redo all of the Fake Giovanni's awful Italian and that being how Eugene suspects the guy. But the pedantic worldbuilding side of me looks at the existence of Italy in this otherwise completely made up world and screams
Realizing I never shared much about Callisto outside her design.
Callisto is planned to be introduced in Season 2. She's a Seer, taking the narrative role of Madame Canardist and Vigor (cause I despise the egregious caricature with a passion) in pointing the gang in the right direction.
Personality wise, I imagine her to be very warm, though a bit scattered.
After meeting her, she offers the gang what information she can to help them on their journey, and talks of old events as if she were there.
There are definitely still details that need to be figured out, but there are the basic ideas.
Do you have a name for this character yet? She looks so pretty!
Still coming up with one 😅 I'm bad at just coming up with names.
Right now, we've got a list of options, but seem to be leaning on Callisto ^-^
Will update if it changes, but for now, we'll call her Callisto
Maybe I need to change the POV of this scene? Will that make it better? Do I need to scrap the whole idea and start over? Pray to the Old Ones?
WHY IS THE SCENE NOT SCENEING
He looked on as they wept. They screamed and clung to the body, now cold. Hugo quirked his head. He did not know these people, but he knew that he loved them. He wanted them to be happy. He remembered being happy with them, once.
SORRY FOR VANISHING I GRINDED THIS OUT IN THREE DAYS (please note i’ve had the thumbnails for this animatic for almost eight months in my sketchbook but they finally escaped)

In Rapunzel’s Return, the crystals the citizens were ordered to mine are used to make the Quirineon, right ?
If so, how long did it take for Varian to make the compound?
I think there was a deleted sequence of Varian making the formula but the video is gone.
I honestly don't recall seeing any sort of video, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
As for how long it took, we know that the citizens were mining because the Saporians wanted huge quantities of Quirinium. Are you asking how long it took Varian to make the huge quantities? Or how long it took him to discover it and make a singe dose of serviceable amount? Though, let's be real a moment, I don't know the answer to either of those lol. But there's a non-zero chance he found a way to automate it, like he did with the Flynnolium in "What the Hair?!" Like a large boiler situation.
I guess I’m asking how long it took for him to make the huge quantities. When the Saporians load it on the airship, it looked like a bunch of barrels but it was just three? The others are smaller. Varian plans to harness the power of the wand and create a synthetic gas that will erase the memories of everyone in Corona. So I figured he studied the Wand of Oblivium first before creating the Quirineon? I’m working on a fic about the takeover so I need help with the process of the formula.
I have a screenshot of the animatic :
I believed it was made by Anna.
Yeah, I don't recognize that.
The most important thing to remember is that they need to take shortcuts in animation for cost purposes. So, for example, lessening the number of barrels loaded onto the airship.
But we know that, as of "Happiness Is..." the takeover hadn't even happened yet, so if we assume the takeover happened right after that, I'd say it took at least six months for the whole process.
(Now I'm gonna be on the hunt for that animatic.)
I do remember a scene of him making it and the beaker exploding, leading to him saying something about it not being ready yet and that it's too volatile. It's what first shows the audience that it's highly explosive before the Saporians decide to destroy the kingdom. I'd have to find it though
yong sketches
If I can just... focus enough, I can finish this scene, and Episode 2 will be done, and I can finally move on
Tell me an inside joke between you and a friend, without context.
I beg of everyone to read the tags to this post, as they are all random and hilarious and read kind of like a poem, if the poem was written by someone who was on a lot of drugs.
My rewrite could replace something some plots like instead Rapunzel burning her arm it's Varian being the one to burn her arm when he sang the reverse incantation in his moondrop state or moonstone state, since my rewrite of my own fanfiction could focus on Varian being the one to burn Cassandra's hand. Instead of Rapunzel, as Rapunzel is the descendant of sundrop and Varian to be the descendant of the moondrop.
Oooooh that could be an interesting divergence!!!
I know for mine, I still want Rapunzel to be the one who burns Cassandra in that moment. Both because Varian still wouldn't have the moonstone at that point, and because it's a really impactful moment between Rapunzel and Cass, even if Cassandra doesn't become a villain in mine
So are faith and cass be a couple in your au?
At the beginning of the series, they're close friends. But I did have the idea of them getting closer as the series goes on. I still need to plan out how that goes, and how to fit it in with everything else going on. I don't even know yet if I want them officially together by the end of Season 3, or have them on their way
As of right now, it's a rough idea I thought was cute, and I need to flesh out and plan a bit more
A cute lil concept I doodled a while ago Happy Cassandra Appreciation month
