honestly didn't expect my comic post to pop off as hard as it did but since its doing so well i'm posting some of the quick character studies i did before making the pages i posted
Three Words (And The One's That Didn't Follow)
Children notice patterns, and when those patterns are broken, they ask questions. For example, when Cassandra said, 'I love you' to her Papa, he always answered 'I love you too'. So, when she says the same three words to the queen, she's confused when she doesn't say it back. Cap does his best to explain, but ultimately, parents can't always control what a child takes away from any given situation. And Cassandra was already pre-disposed to take all the wrongs lessons to heart.
