I find there to be a wonderful simplicity to this image. It is calming, and it is without pomposity such that I feel I might even be able to paint something like this. It is a painting that is encouraging to the creative spirit, and invites one to enjoy the uncomplicated view of beautiful flowers and an endless horizon.
It's also a combination of earth (flowers), water (sea), and air (that lovely-hued sky with the faintest clouds); and thoughts of travel (the yacht). I think the yacht let's the viewer think about travel, but the flowers say it's also okay to be where you are right now, if you want.
