The Summer Set Stories for Monday Tour!
Happy Birthday to Brendon Urie!
Look at this blast from my artistic style past, this is simply just because I bought a pair of kaleidoscope glasses and I find them super cool, enjoy!
also as ever, this is already available to be bought in my shop Ā
Put some shadow boxes together today. I did tickets of every concert I've been to, all the guitar picks I've gotten at the concerts, and a Panic at the disco theme box. They turned out really cool! š

Everywhere Is Home.
Hello Monday. How are you?
Iām writing this on my phone from the top of Griffith Observatory. I love this place. Iāve lived at the bottom of the hill here for a few years, but the past year I relied on this place more than ever. When things got hard and I became creatively unsatisfied, I would put on a hoodie and my headphones and just run from my front door through the evergreen park and up to the top of the hill. The song was usually āYou Canāt Always Get What You Want" by The Stones. Iām grateful for this view. It has inspired me in more ways than I can imagine. āIf you try sometimes, youāll find you get what you need.ā
The last week a brilliant blur. Itās crazy how fast you can go from everything to nothing and then nothing to everything. I had all the time in the world last year; we hardly toured and took our sweet time making this album. I had nothing to do and nowhere to be. Now that weāve released 'Figure Me Out" weāve hit the ground running full speed and havenāt had a moment to take it all in. I love and appreciate both aspects of that journey. Yesterday we skipped the Super Bowl so we could film our second music video in 2 weeks. Crazy. Weāre back and better than ever and arenāt slowing down yet.
We also got to spend a few great days in New York. I got to see my best friend Alexās new apartment and share some new tunes. We drank. We roamed the streets. We drank some more. We saw the sun come up. I wouldnāt have it any other way. The thing I remembered loving the most about touring was waking up each day in a new city. And after years of making repeat visits to every city in America, suddenly we had close friends everywhere we went. Iāve touched on this before on stage, but its surreal to be able to wake up on a bus or hotel room anywhere from New York, or Chicago, or London and beyond and be able to walk to a favorite coffee shop, restaurant, or art gallery and know exactly how to get there without using a map. That is my favorite feeling in the world and I am forever grateful that I get to do this.
Everywhere is Home.

P.S. We played our first show as a full band in a long time at Rutgers University in New Jersey on Friday. Debuted āFigure Me Outā live and played a new song called āWastedā full band. It felt so fucking good to be back up there. I canāt wait to go back on tour now.
Are you gonna be there?
(Tickets here www.thesummersetband.com)
I'll be there! St. Louis VIP!
