The unspeakable beauty of La Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame on the Île de la Cité in Paris I had the chance to witness in February.

This beautiful Gothic church in Batalha, Portugal, was virtually empty and so bright, airy and actually quite cheerful for a Catholic church. Some of the most lovely stained glass effects I’ve ever seen.
