*jumps up onto one of my soapboxes* --- I am sooo sick and tired of people thinking and telling their children that art, in any form, is a waste of time. I spent my whole childhood being told that art isn't a good career choice. You need to do something different with your life. Stop drawing all of the time. You will never be able to make a living making art. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but if it weren't for me and ALL of the other artists like me, you guys wouldn't have a motherfucking thing. You would still be sitting back in the old days, naked as can be, because if it weren't for a designer who took an "art related major" you wouldn't have clothes. It is the ARTIST that took an idea of what could be and made it so. If it weren't for an artist, who took an "art related major" you wouldn't be sitting on a chair, or in your vehicle... You wouldn't have a phone in your hand, you sure as fuck wouldn't have a computer or a website to post stupid ass bullshit about "art related majors" being a waste of time. It is myself and other creative and imaginative ARTISTS that ALLOW you to have all of the materialistic and beautiful things that you take for granted each and every motherfucking day. WE MAKE THIS WORLD GO 'ROUND!! Stop telling your children that my life and my friend's lives are a waste of time. Stop downing your child that wants to take art or some sort of creative major...
