So I’ve decided to create a full on art blog. This is where I’ll be posting my art and anything related to my art. My main account will just be for other stuff, aka reblogs that consumes my art lol.
Since this’ll be a pinned post I’ll introduce myself.
I am Grace/Art/Marshy, you can call me any of those names. I’m 21 years old and have been making art for 8+ years and writing for just as long. I’m into a lot of different fandoms, but currently my hyperfixation is Lego Monkie Kid or anything Monkey King related. (I honestly don’t know what else to say about myself lol).

Spider-Man pointing meme, but it's of my oc, Randy (The Suits), and the two characters that he's based on/characters that I drew inspiration for him.
Randal "Randy" Newell shares a name with Randy Cunningham and acts a bit impulsive like the 9th Grade Ninja, but a lot of his character is inspired by MK. Especially because MK and Randal have the Monkey King as their mentor. Randal is very compassionate and full of heart (which is why he is the King of Hearts).

I really need to get around to actually working on The Suits, but here and there I do work on them. Point in case, Randy got an updated version of his magical girl outfit (featured here in this drawing). I'm still unsure on the coloring, but red and black will always be his colors.
All the members of The Suits have two colors for their magical girl outfits. The only outlier is Jay at the moment because I haven't gotten around to updating his outfit (because I'm debating on what secondary color to give him since I'm not sure what to pair with his main color purple).

I might just make it yellow because I already have 2 with yellow in their outfits and 3 with black in their outfits. Plus, yellow is a complimentary color to purple. And it would tie them all in together of being a team. Even though their magical items belong to different sets and have been brought together to make up their current group.

I was thinking about it and realized I never actually posted Bao's new reference sheet.
So here it is! Ramblings about her down below.
Her backstory/lore has also changed given that she's been redesigned/given an updated design.
Originally she was just the result of making a random picrew because I was bored and had been watching Lego Monkie Kid. Eventually she developed into an oc for LMK then became a chinese mythology oc - specifically tied into the story of The Monkey King + The Journey to the West (because Sun Wukong has taken up residence in my brain lol)
Bao's lore hasn't changed too much - she's still known as the "Sun Jewel"/the "Sun's Jewel" and has her bracelets that restrict her powers - but other things have changed. Specifically that she's a monkey now instead of a cow :3
I never could figure out a solid (lore) reason for her cow features (at least not one I enjoyed), but I really loved the idea of how Bao felt connected to Wukong in ways she could never figure out. So, I turned that into Bao being born a stone monkey (the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother of the West still being her parents) while also being a sun in humanoid form. Of course I also had to add in a lil trauma with that.
Said trauma being that upon being born her mother had a fit over her daughter's appearance, which led to a confused and upset toddler turning into a sun because she didn't know how to control her powers yet (she was just born after all lol). In order to stop her from destroying everything in sight from her becoming a literal sun, the Jade Emperor placed the golden bracelets on her - having received them after asking the Buddha for help - which suppressed Bao's powers (leaving her with a small fraction of her abilities). With the bracelets on she now looked normal (as normal as a goddess can look).
Because of this change, her mother became happy. This also led to only a select few knowing the true nature of Bao. In order to assure this, Bao was constantly kept under watch. She didn't enjoy it, but it was better than the never ending lessons she had to learn as being the young jade princess. Though she always found a way to sneak out of her lessons and be free of "being a proper lady" (which did lead to her being disciplined, but she learned to never let it stop her from finding a space to be herself).
Despite how much she would rather be free from her title of the Jade Princess (or more commonly, Heaven's Sun Jewel), Bao will sacrifice her own happiness to do whatever it is her parents dictate for her (the Jade Emperor being more lenient than her mother). It's why when she tries to help Wukong against heaven she helps until she's firmly told to "stop acting like a child and act like the princess you are" and then later during the journey westward she leaves the group when she realizes that she is just being another obstacle for them (despite wanting to stay by Wukong's side both times).
It's been engrained in her mind that she's a selfish beast that takes what isn't hers and that's why she must wear those bracelets to keep her in check, but really she isn't - she's just doing whatever makes others happy at the loss of her own happiness. The only time she truly felt that she wasn't that selfish beast was during the brief month she spent with the group traveling west. It was also the only real time she acted more true to herself (she would actually mimic some of Wukong's monkey behavior as it felt the most natural thing to her).
Speaking of...
Her relationship with Wukong can be read as either platonic or romantic (I mostly read it as romantic because Bao's my oc lol), but ultimately as soulmates. But in the sense of their lives are connected no matter what they do. He sees her for who she truly is and she sees him for who he truly is. Wukong helps Bao in connecting with her true nature while Bao helps Wukong in letting go of his pride to do things he wouldn't do (without convincing) otherwise - both helping each other learn to find balance with everything.
Though when they first met, Wukong didn't actually know who she was and Bao simply knew that he had been given a title unbefitting a king. Their second time meeting, Wukong still did not know who she was, but figured out that she is someone who clearly knows quite a bit about him, and Bao, once again, simply knew he had been given a false title and job to keep him busy. They were honest with each other (as honest as Bao would be, not wanting him to treat her differently if he knew her name and title) and just bonded in a way they never expected.
Their final meeting in heaven was that of the war Wukong waged on heaven. She tried helping Wukong - she even tried to reason with him - but nothing worked and she was kept under heavy watch (something she hadn't dealt with since she was a child). It was only when Wukong was freed from being trapped under a mountain did she successfully escape the watchful eyes in heaven. It took her some time before she actually found Wukong and the others.
When she eventually left to not be a hindrance to the journey to the west, Bao actually went to Mount Huaguo instead of back to heaven. Believing that if she couldn't be there on the journey then she could at least make sure that there is something for Wukong when he returns.
To touch back on the subject of Bao's bracelets (while still being connect to her relationship with Wukong) - only Buddha, the Jade Emperor and Wukong (unbeknownst to anyone other than Buddha) can take the bracelets off. Despite being unaware of this fact himself, Wukong has nearly proven that he can without meaning to (it was during a conversation where Bao says "some beasts have chains as their shackles, others have gold - each keeping them bound to those who seek to keep them tamed" which caused Wukong to drop the subject).
At some point, the bracelets will be removed by Wukong, but will promptly be placed back on Bao's wrists as to just be a way to suppress her ability to turn into the sun (because she still doesn't have the greatest control over that). Though in doing so allows her to exist in her true form (aka her monkey form), but she is able to transform into her previous form if she so chooses (which she usually doesn't since Wukong helps her feel comfortable in her true form)
Speaking of her true form - the reason for her fur having three colors is because of what happened when she was born. She ended up accidentally bleaching her own fur, but that fact isn't really known until after she has access to her true form. Also bits of her true form bleed through into her human form - her teeth being pointy and sharp, her nose, and her hair having a slight wave to it. In her true form she does have a bit of a heart mask, but it's rather hard to see unless up close (which I thought about also having in her human form, but thought against it).
I think that's all the ramblings my brain can think up at the moment. I'm sure there's more stuff I could babble about Bao, but I think that's enough for one post.

I spent so much time on the damn background and foreground of this piece. Like I spent 40 hours worth of time on this thing. I shall never reach this height of silliness ever again because I don't think I could ever be this committed to an art piece ever again.
I don't know what happened. Don't know what art god possessed me to do this, but here we are lol.
I most definitely will not be doing this (a whole ass scene) for artfight because I don't think I could ever do so.

Unrelated to what I've posted today. I redesigned my Undertale oc because I started thinking about Undertale recently and realized that she really needed an updated design.
Here is her previous design that I made in like 2019 or so (it's been over six years since this drawing)

As you'll notice I have provided 2 designs - Past & Present - well that's because she technically has both.
In her lore she is from during the era of the war between Humans and Monsters. She was a mage during this time, but due to some magic not going as expected (because she was seconds from death) she ended up trapped in the Void. That is until Frisk enters the Underground and ultimately pulls Grace out of the Void. Though she has no memories of her life prior, only remembering her name.
This blog is dedicated to my two creepypasta ocs Musical Kitten (aka Grace Spirits) and Shelby Valentine (aka Killer Barbie). This is a roleplaying blog so send in any questions or random stuff you want into the ask box to get to know these two gals better. I will be including some rules and little info on the two down below.

This is an 18+ blog because there will be mentions of topics not suitable for younger audiences (especially because this is a creepypasta blog)
With that being said, try to keep things relatively appropriate - these characters may be adults (and I may be an adult) but I would appreciate not going overboard with things
This is all in good fun and this will all be considered not canon to their main storylines (like this is an alternate timeline where anything goes)
Be respectful and understand I may not know about every creepypasta out there (I am only one person after all)
Musical Kitten:
Musical Kitten, or MK for short, is a 23 year old woman that is connected to Marble Hornets, but is mostly just connected by the fact she attended the same college as those in the Marble Hornets series. She rarely, if at ever, goes by her actual name anymore because she feels disconnected from the person she used to be. As a child she was heavily bullied by a group of kids to the point she ended up hospitalized and briefly died - being brought back by the Slenderman (or the Operator).
Because of her momentary death, MK lost her memories of everything before waking up in the hospital. From there all the kids that bullied her treated her like a friend, almost all of them feeling bad for what happened and wanted to make it up in some way. The only person that did not feel bad, but pretended to, was Beth Majors.
In college MK continued having a friendship with Beth, made friends with the Marble Hornets crew (only really being close friends with Brian and Tim), and even had a boyfriend named Brad. That is until she found out that Brad and Beth had been secretly dating the whole time and had been playing an elaborate prank on her. This anger and betrayal caused something in her to break and kill the two. It also led to all the memories of the past to return, fueling her anger. Thus leading to her killing off everyone that had been apart of the group of bullies from her childhood.
Shelby Valentine:
Shelby Valentine is a 25 year old woman that spent most of her life in a mental hospital. As a child she claimed to see a tall man in a suit with no face. Worried, her parents had her institutionalized for these "hallucinations". This didn't sit well with young Shelby and she would throw fits and hurt the staff every time they tried to calm her down. She would claim to need to leave - that the tall man was waiting for her to come home - but this only resulted in her being placed in isolation to prevent her from hurting others or herself.
Over the years, after many transfers, Shelby learned to play nice - to play pretend. This allowed her to leave solitary confinement and plot out her escape. During this time she made "friends" with a nun that had visited the patients that no longer had visitors because their families deemed them too much of a lost cause. This gave Shelby someone to talk to, to manipulate, so that the staff never suspected what was to come.
When the time was right, Shelby enacted her plan. Causing a panic from attacking some of the other patients, who in turn started attacking each other, then used the chaos to make her way to the exits. Along the way she killed many of the staff and patients, even her nun friend, that got in her way. She felt no remorse as she left her metaphorical cage and escaped into the nearby woods. In which she followed the voice in her head back to the tall faceless man that she's spent years trying to return to.

An impromptu poem by Musical Kitten, as she murders another victim.
I haven't drawn my girl MK in a hot minute so I decided to make a little sketch of her in my sketchbook. Her hands took forever to get well enough for my liking.
Also the "poem" above is a half-baked thing I made just for this post. I thought it'd be fitting for MK since she is musically talented and pretty creative.
Next characters to be introduced (for my Black Blood Experiment AU) are

Nina, Toby and Jeff make up what I call "The Woods Trio" because you can find them in the woods since that's where Jeff and Toby live (and where Nina frequently visits)
A little lore on Nina and Toby
Nina Hopkins (Killer Scene):
- She's a 17 year old serial killer
- She lives with her parents and brother (all of which are very nice and normal people)
- Very noncommittal in both her looks and how she goes about being a killer
- She idolizes Jeff and wants to be just like him, but better (he wants nothing to do with her, but does help her out like a big brother would)
- She is not infected and is killing people of her own volition, but she desperately wants to be infected like Jeff and Toby
- Her family is very unaware of being a killer, instead her parents believing her to just be a teenager going through a phase while her younger brother is more focused on his own life.
- She wears makeup and a wig to both simulate looking like Jeff and to get around her parents rule of "no dyeing your hair"
- She owns a lot of wigs, but only wears her long black wig as Killer Scene
Tobias "Toby" Rogers:
- Also a military brat like Jeff
- He's twenty one, making him three years younger than Jeff
- He escaped the Facility™️ at the same time Jeff did
- He had a twin sister named Lyra, but she died (resulting in Toby killing all the staff that had been working on Lyra's side of the experiment)
- Infected just like Jeff, but was injected a month before Jeff was
- His father works at The Facility™️, but once was an active member of the military before becoming greatly injured and being honorably discharged.
- Before the experiment he already had a high pain tolerance, but the black blood made it so he no longer could feel/experience physical pain
- The experiment also led to him not having the best (if at all) control over his emotions, but being in the woods helps him feel in control of his emotions
- Very childish and a bit naive at times because he was only a kid when he was made to be an experiment, which allows him to get along well with Nina
- Respects Jeff, but will push all of Jeff's buttons (very siblings coded)
- Often tries avoiding sleep to avoid the memory of his sister's rotting corpse
- Often feels like a part of him is missing (because Lyra is gone)
- Calls Jeff stinky to mess with him (which allows annoys Jeff)

Yes, Lexi is most definitely mad as hell that her baby is having to grow up in The Facility™️. Luckily for Lexi, she has Jude there to help keep Rue away from all the things going on in The Facility™️ (plus their home in the facility is away from where all the experiments and very dangerous things are kept so Rue luckily doesn't see all of that) and help Lexi with everything going on.
Jude is Lexi's rock and keeps her grounded whenever everything gets too much to handle. It's definitely not any easy task since Lexi is now more prone to violence (because of the infection), but Jude and Rue are the only people that can effectively calm Lexi while also being safe from her violence.
Rue also is the most loved baby in The Facility™️ (the only one, but still) because the staff find her to be the cutest person in the world (everyone would rather die than let that baby be in any danger) :3
Lauren had the most obvious feelings for Kate, but never pushed them onto Kate because she respected that her friend was still figuring herself out.
Kate didn't know that loving a girl was something she was allowed to do (or that she was more attracted to women than men) until after losing Lauren - the first person she ever truly loved.
Their other friends knew that the two would eventually get together, but Jeff and Toby prevented that possibility from ever happening. Instead Kate is left with survivors guilt, the realization of how much she truly loved her best friend and the anger for being turned into something she never asked for.
History shall remember them only as best friends, but Kate will remember them as something that never got to be.

Joining the "Infected" (the Operator's proxies):
To become an Infected you have to come into contact with Slenderman's blood. Depending on how a person comes into contact with the blood determines how strongly it affects the person.
Should someone be injected with the Operator's blood, like the Richardson children, the more it physically and mentally affects the person - leading to a stronger bond with the tall man.
Should someone consume the blood (i.e. drink it) then the person will be effected physically while having a bond with Slenderman, but not one that affects the mind. This allows the person to have more control over their mind versus someone who's been injected with the blood.
Lastly, should someone touch the blood (or come into physical contact with the blood) that person will deal with mental side effects. This bond is the weakest because the effects can wear off unlike the other methods. This will lead to the person having memory loss, a hazy mind, auditory hallucinations (i.e. the sound of static), paranoia and/or trouble sleeping.
If a person is either injected with the tall man's blood or consumes it they are deemed an Infected. Once infected, the person will be drawn towards the woods to the creature that is the Operator. He is now their home, but all will see it that way and can take medicine to prevent the side effects of the black blood or simply live near or in the woods.
Disclaimer: Not all Infected are killers, but most killers are Infected.
Joining Zalgo's Crew:
Becoming apart of Zalgo's crew works similarly to the Operator's proxies - however, most often, if not all the time, those who become apart of Zalgo's crew is those who are his children.
Zalgo can infect people similarly to his brother, but his blood only affects the physical aspects of a person. Whether a person becomes a monster after being physically changed is up to them.
Those born from Zalgo do have the ability to switch between a human form or a "monstrous" form (some don't have a fully body change while others can look like they aren't humanoid).
Those who are injected with his blood can temporarily switch between their original human form and their new creature form, but it requires a lot of energy to do so.
Those who've consumed his blood (i.e. drinking it) will be permanently changed like those injected with his blood, but they are unable to hide their new physical changes.
Those who simple come into contact with his blood (i.e. touching it) will have minor physical changes that shouldn't affect their daily life. It is a permanent change, but one that most people around them won't notice.
Children of Zalgo aren't aware of their lineage until something in their lives brings out the black blood within them (i.e. the feeling of needing to protect themselves unlocks their creature form). Until an event as such happens they are just like any other human - their blood even being red like humans, only turning black upon becoming a creature.
As stated before, you don't have to be biologically his child to be apart of his crew. Those he adopts (i.e. Eyeless Jack) becomes apart of his crew. Those he adopts are also people he believes he can help after encountering and being changed by other ancient beings/creatures.
Zalgo is a certified dad that loves picking up strays (unlike some of his siblings)
