This scenery will never get old.....
Francis gazed down from above the Eiffel Tower which lit up beautifully in the night. The stars twinkled and the crescent moon gleamed brightly. Buildings from a far had lights on and little cars drove on the roads peacefully. He took in a deep breath in and let it out loudly, This day was a special one to the nation of love. For it was the day that the people of France left an important mark to forever be remembered in history. Bastille day. Francis closed his eyes as his grip on the railing tightened, he remembered that early morning as clear as day.
A large crowd of partisans armed with muskets, swords, and various makeshift weapons began to gather around the Bastille fortress. Shouting an anger and had the look of determination in their eyes. Battle broke out almost Immediately and bullets were flying through air. Men began to drop down on the ground but Francis was there to fight alongside his people no matter the obstacle, his desire of liberty had never felt so strong until that day. The battle seemed at lost as the guards of the tower killed more and more citizens but hope rang out when the fortress had been finally invaded and severally prisoners were let out free. It was victory for the partisans of France and a symbolic moment of the end of an ancien regime....
Francis opened his eyes to stare at his beautiful country once again and a wide smile spread across his lips. Then suddenly, Fireworks were fired up and filled the night sky with bursts of colors. Many people cheered happily as they waved the French flag like crazy while others just stared in awe at the sky. The nation of love just simply grinned as he looked up at the fireworks and closed his eyes once more “vive la France....”
