Lonely.
It’s supposed to be Martin on a lighthouse but I’m not sure if he’s recognisable. I imagine this as maybe a bad ending for him where he embraces the lonely. I like drawing him and the lonely symbolism. I really like his character development, he’s almost a different person by the end and I like that person.
I study architecture but I don’t like drawing buildings very much. To me buildings are very rigid and geometric things and when I draw I like to be fluid. Because I liked this Idea for a drawing so much I decided to try to draw a building for fun.

Bookplate by Sidney Hunt, 1923 from Graveur Anglais d'ex-libris, a rare,19-page book published in 1929 authored by Edmund Paul. There isn’t much info to be found about Hunt, but the majority of his art that has made its way online has a definite gay vibe to it. Hunt edited the avant-garde magazine Ray in the mid-1920′s and his art was favored by many prominent avant-garde artists. There’s a brief post with more art at {feuilleton}.
