another update

so... sorry for disappearing again. i’ve had quite a bit going on, but i think i’m sort of ready to start posting again, so i should fill y’all in.

so, i moved a couple months ago- it’s a nice place, the grocery store is a few blocks away, so that’s cool. the neighborhood is rather new, so there’s still a lot of construction going on around here.

other than that, the main reason i haven’t been posting much is that i’ve been a bit all over the place mentally. i’ve been working on a lot of projects that either aren’t what i usually post- like, i’ve been sewing, painting, crochet- or they’re related to a project that i’m kind of wanting to keep to myself for a while. i might post some of those projects that i finished, but yeah. that’s about it.

i guess the only other thing i’ll bring up is that i’ve been streaming some games with my friend juhie every now and then on her channel, and i’m gonna set up a stream on twitch in a little bit. here’s the drawing i’ll be working on-

so i drew this with gel pens and colored pencils a long time ago, then did this in photoshop to add a little more color and get rid of the background.

side note, never lend me a colored pen that you care about, i’ll use a lot of ink for just a few doodles cus crosshatching.

so, i played undertale again recently and i noticed these two stuffed animals in asriel & chara’s old bedroom.

so... been a while, huh? feels weird having to do another update practically twice in a row, but here we are.

i’ll get straight to the point though, i just moved. technically speaking, we’re still in the process of it, but the big part of getting the new place and getting the furniture there and such is done and over with. this is the first time i’ve had to move since i was... five, i think? point is, this has been sorta stressful and new to me- but settling in has been pretty easy, it’s mostly just been throwing stuff out that’s tiring.

so now that i’m done with all that for the most part, i’m ready to start posting again. sorry about being gone for so long.

so, for the past two months or so, I’ve been dealing with depression- I had little motivation, I found it harder to do any kind of work, including drawing, and generally just felt like crap- which is why I stopped posting for a while.

That being said, I’m starting to feel better and I’ll try to post more often. I have some old drawings that sorta piled up in a “eh, I’ll post it later” pile that I can post while I work on other things like school and such.

a lot’s been going on in my life lately- school, the election, etc. i didn’t completely stop drawing or anything, just didn’t really draw things that i wanted to post for one reason or another. hopefully, i can post more here from here on out and not be inactive for a month or two.
