This BE@RBRICK 1000% custom is a collision between one of the most recognizable silhouettes in contemporary collecting, the visual memory of classic cartoons, and the unsettling "Creepy World" universe of Coté Escrivá.

Coté Escrivá, born in Valencia in 1982, is a Spanish illustrator, designer, and multidisciplinary artist. His imagination was shaped by American culture from the 1980s and 1990s, the cartoons of Disney, Warner Bros, and Nickelodeon, the world of tattooing, and the urban culture of the West Coast.

His work reinterprets those old-school characters through an irreverent, unsettling, and instantly recognizable visual language. His style has crossed borders, leading him to exhibit in galleries and events around the world, from London, Los Angeles, and Barcelona to Singapore.

In 2024/2025, Philadelphia-based abstract street artist King Saladeen partnered with MOT Museum / Museum of Toys Indonesia to bring his visual universe into the territory of Art Toys.

From this collaboration comes "Day Dreamers OG Colorway", a limited-edition sculpture featuring King Saladeen’s iconic character: JP the Money Bear.

But JP is not just a character.

JP the Money Bear was born as a deeply personal tribute to JP, King Saladeen’s best friend and mentor. JP was the one who bought him his first full set of art supplies and pushed him to take his talent seriously. After JP’s passing, Saladeen transformed pain into creative momentum: a way of moving forward without forgetting where he came from.

In "Day Dreamers OG Colorway", JP appears still, almost silent. But his vibrant colors, fragmented details, mismatched eyes, and layered visual surface suggest a restless inner world filled with imagination, memories, and thoughts that are never said out loud.

King Saladeen is a self-taught American artist connected to contemporary abstract art, graffiti, and urban culture. He has collaborated with Mural Arts Philadelphia and is the creator of Create Your Gold, a large-scale pictorial installation located at Philadelphia International Airport.

Since founding Saladeen Art Group in 2011, his work has appeared in contexts such as SOHO NYC, Art Basel Miami Beach, and LA Art Show, expanding his language beyond the canvas into fashion, collectible objects, digital art, and brand collaborations.

IMP: As a special collaboration produced by MOT Museum / Museum of Toys Indonesia, "Day Dreamers OG Colorway" has circulated mainly within the Indonesian market.
