In this painting I used extra heavy gel medium on the foreground to build up that rich, tactile texture you can almost feel.

In the background — real 23–24k gold leaf, catching the light differently throughout the day.

I wanted to capture that feeling of childhood curiosity…

when the world feels огромный, бесконечный и полный открытий.

These boys don’t follow the path — they ride straight through the grass.

Because at that age, the most interesting way is always the one no one told you about.
